Would recommend this after you have taken another tour so you have a brief history of all the places and you know where you want to go. A 5.00 pass for all day. It picks up every 15 minutes. They have a self explanatory map and the driver gives you advance notice of up coming stops.

Thought this would be a convenient and inexpensive way to see the sites but although they buses were supposed to be every 15 minutes, they were not on schedule and some were overflowing with local commuters rather than tourists I thought it was intended for. After waiting almost 30 minutes and then cramming in standing room only and trying to... More

We could board just across the street from our hotel. Good price for an All Day Pass (10.00 ea.). You can get on and off where you like and visit the different historical sites in Central City and Old City. Great!

Nice way to get around. We bought the One Day Independence Pass on the SEPTA and the pass is also good for the Philly Phlash.

A one-week pass, (Monday-to-Monday) is $24 and the best travel value there is. The Philadelphia Phlash runs east to west, from Penn's Landing to the Eastern State Penitentiary. Best of all, you don't need to keep up with stops/worry where to get off. The driver announces each stop as well as the ancillary attraction. We crisscrossed down on this bus... More

We enjoyed one day pass that allowed us to get from the downtown area to the pinitentiary, museum of art and then all the way to the old town and Penn landing. Therer's no guides or narrative about the things you pass. This is just a transportation service between the historical places.

We paid $5 so we could ride the bus all day. It was a pleasant ride in air-conditioned comfort. The bus doesn't try to pack too many people on. There was a new one every 15 minutes and it took about 50 minutes to ride the whole loop. I liked that it dropped you off so close to the front... More

The front desk at our hotel recommended the Philly Phlash bus. For $5 you can ride all day to many of the main attractions in Philly. No narration, just clean, convenient transportation. A life saver when it's 90 degrees in Philly.

This bus option is the best option for seeing Philadelphia. Philly really isn't very big and can be walked easily, however this bus option is great to start you off and help you get your bearings. $2 for single journey and $5 for day pass is exceptional value for money for whole family. The buses are kitted out for wheelchair... More

We used the Phlash getting around for a full day from sites in and near Independence Mall to the Eastern State Penitentiary and several stops in between. For the day fare of $5, it's a bargain. Buses run every 15 minutes and you each stop gets you very close to your historic site stop.
