Our family enjoyed this facility and everything it offered! We were able to meet tours, have lunch and visit historical characters.

This modern but still period style facility is in the midst of Independence National Historic Park. It is a large facility with two good films, some worthwhile exhibits, lots of information about the Park, City and region (including from literature, computer and humans), food, refreshments...More
Our first stop was the Independence Visitor Center, after parking underneath in the parking garage. If you walk around to see the sites, plan to spend $18 for parking for the day. This beats the crowded lots around the area and strange people driving your...More
Like name says, it is a good place to start your visit to Independence Mall here. They provide brochures, films and also tickets to Independence Hall. Additionally there are restrooms available and air condition cools down on hot summer day.
If you are trying to locate the national parks, local museums, or local ways to learn about Philly, you can find everything you need. Also charging stations for phones, iPads, etc.
Stop here first for your free tickets to Independence Hall. The park rangers are more than willing to help and to answer all your questions. There are plenty of nice displays, and clean restrooms. Have a seat in the hallway, or watch the films if...More
Typical visitor center with info, bathrooms, souvenirs. But they have a place where you can charge your phone! Put it in a cubby, plug it in to their cables, punch in a code to lock it up. Safe, fast, convenient.
The visitor's center was okay. I liked the fact that it was cool inside. The best part was when they had actors, who represented George and Martha Washington, pose for pictures and answer questions.
