pretty poor information. Historical building but nothing terribly special. The old pews are quite quaint

Not really much to see or I was just so tired by the time I got there I wasn't interested. The lady at the entrance was knowledgeable and eager to share information about the church.

Historical church that played a role in the founding of our country. Sit in the same pew that George Washington, Ben Franklin or Betsy Ross did. This is not a time consuming tour and it is a suggested donation. The guide can really set the stage as to what was going on in the early years of Philadelphia and how... More

What a great place to experience history! The tour guide greeted us immediately and was very engaging. She shared very condensed by thorough information.

Apart from the historical aspects (the US founding fathers using this church) this is an interesting building and a good example of American adaptation of English church design, with a recognizable layout but simpler ornamentation. We had an enlightening conversation with a very knowledgeable docent/church historian there (sorry I don't have his name).

It was a nice part of the experience of being in the footsteps of our founding fathers. The docents present were knowledgable and willing to answer questions and point out the interesting aspects of the still active church.

Christ Church was house of worship for some of the most famous colonists, including Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross. Pews are marked where they and other prominent Philadelphians regularly sat. Still a working church with a modern congregation, it honors its history well. There are graves/vaults surrounding the church and some imbedded in its indoor aisles, and the building is... More

As an episcopalian, I wanted to visit Christ Church. My friend and I wandered inside at almost closing time, not realizing how close we were to the end of their day. There was a wonderful young man providing information about the church. He asked us if we had questions or should he just talk. We told him to give us... More

Part of the history of our nation. Also seen in several movies with Nicholas Cage. Part of the overall tour of Independence Square and the entire historic makeup.
