I believe the only way to see Independence Hall is with the tour ticket. It was very interesting and our guide was very enthusiastic and seemed quite knowledgeable. The entry line into the area is open to all. Then there is another line for the tour once you get through that. But the line [at least at the time/day we... More

no trip would be complete without seeing the bell. Stop in the visitors center to get your free tickets to independence hall and no tickets needed for the bell.

Only got to walk by. Summer travelers -Get your tickets 3 months in advance if you can. Or go early and stand in line. Early in the day this place was loaded with middle school tour groups so go in the afternoon if you can. Even the line for the Liberty Bell is shorter after noon.

The Liberty Bell is a must see if you come to the city. The entrance is free and you can walk up and take a picture of/with the bell.

My mom had this on her list of to do's for a long time. I am so glad we were able to make it happen. It took a solid 4 hours to view the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Congress Hall. It is free to view all three, which is pretty cool and makes it a very affordable educational outing... More

I was in philly for a couple of days and decided to visit the iconic bell and the hall. I had to take a ticket from the center across the road to a guided tour at a predetermined hour. The staff is very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the place and its role in american independence. I could... More

Really enjoyed visiting the Liberty Bell and then going to the free tour of Congress Hall. Great to see where all the future presidents sat and met!

The Rangers did an outstanding job summarizing the history here. It was awesome to be in the same place where our country really began.
