This tour must be done with a guide and ample time in hand to hear the story behind the sequence of events which led to American independence from the British. I bet the British are kicking themselves to this day.

I know it's just a bell but it is The Liberty Bell. An unbelievable icon of American history. It even impressed the kids. The visitor center is bright and airy with fun facts along the way. Great time

We did not go inside, but I did take pictures of the building. I love old structures and taking pictures of them.

This was a nice place to visit. There is a ton of history of our country within walking distance. Be very careful where you park, they have meter readers that will catch you if your not careful.

Many years ago, I got to see the Liberty Bell in all its glory while it was still hanging in its old tower. This time around though, all we got was a lineup into a spanking new complex, and at the end of the road,...More

Warning! You have to put your stuff through an X Ray machine in order to enter. The day we went, it was manned by a private security guard whose first language was not English. Because of a misunderstanding, the guard insisted that my husband had...More
