This was a fun family history lesson. Kids seemed to love it. Plan to go through security and that includes removing coats even when it's cold outside... no restrooms so plan ahead. Other then that all was fine.

The Bell brought me to Philly! It looks expensive! Most people who came to this place would go straight to the bell. I saw them skipping everything else from the security checkpoint to the bell area. We arrived at the same time with a group...More

Found the exhibit leading up to the bell interesting - helped to explain its significance and historical context. Entrance is free, you just have to queue to get in, but believe you can get a peek at the bell through the windows too.

Very good exhibition about the Liberty bell, a must see, even though we had to wait in line in the cold, it was worth it

The line was long but well worth the wait. I thought this might be a similar let down as viewing Plymouth Rock, but it wasn't. The bell is placed within the context of history in this wonderful interpretive center. A must see if you are...More

The unavoidable security measures needed in this day and age , took away from visiting the liberty bell. My young son wasn't happy about the 45 minute wait to get inside , due to bag checks etc. Maybe having a " express line" for visitors...More

This is definitely a must-see! As an adult, even I didn't have the patience to read every little thing in the museum. So don't plan on being able to spend a lot of time going through here with kids - they will get bored. The...More
