This spa is AMAZING!! Myself and my girlfriends have been talking about all of the amazing services from that day for weeks now. Since we were a pretty large group, 12 women, they wanted to make sure we had enough space and a room to hang out in while we all went in and out of our services. Cherry Ann and Angela went above and beyond to make sure we had the best set up! Private room with robes and slippers all set up for us to change in, bottles of wine, Prosecco and infused waters, as well as fresh fruit, macaroon cookies and a huge macaroon cake. It was delicious!! We also had room to put out a few other snacks we brought in. I can’t thank those two ladies enough for the hospitality and creating such a Wonderful experience for us all. They really put a lot of love and thought into the entire day to make sure we would have the best time.
The massages and treatments we all received were top notch! If you can request him, Dillion was AMAZING! Best massage I have ever had. But you can’t go wrong with anyone because not one person had a thing to complain about. It was so incredibly relaxing. If you are planning a bachelorette party, or just a day with the girls or even just you and your partner, I would highly recommend this spa!! Can’t wait to be back soon.

This years bday was a little hard, just completed a move into a new home on top on my bf being out of state on business. The decision to visit this spa was the best I could have possibly made. "Ms. Patricia's" smile was the first thing to meet me and it was extremely warm and welcoming. I was comfortable from the first step off of the elevator. "Kellyanne" was my massage therapist. Her experience can work a boyscout knot out of your muscles. She knew where all the trouble spots were without me having to say. Thank You for being so Talented. It had been a while since I've felt my muscles so relaxed. "Sheri Ann" was my skin specialist and lets just say there wasn't a pore left untouched!! Lol! Ive never seen my face so clear. It was as if she made my skin smile!! I was grateful for her great advice on the type of skin I have and what products would help care for it. You girls are Awsome and The Underground Spa is an experience one cannot find too easy. I appreciate the Better Bday and the Absolutely Relaxing atmosphere you have here!!

If you're feeling fine and want to indulge in luxury, a massage or facial or specialty massage or all of the above, and you've got your bathing suit for some pool-time that's open for you all day the day of your Spa experience, and you can afford the treatment/s you want -- DO IT! It's pricey, but you'll never forget it.
We arrived at The Logan 10 days into a road trip, and our car had been lightly rear-ended a week before in stop-and-stop-some-more-and-maybe-go-a-little traffic on the highway entering Washington, DC. Not even a visible scratch on the bumper, but my lower back muscles felt painfully tight and required several daily sessions of stretching I'd learned from a chiropractor and my therapist. That stretching had always worked to relieve occasional lower back stiffness in two or three days -- not this time! We wouldn't return home to my regular massage therapist for three weeks, so I searched for a good therapeutic massage provider in Philadelphia and found that those at The Logan, where we were already booked for two nights, are among the best.
I scheduled a therapeutic deep tissue massage for 4 PM the afternoon we checked in. My masseur was Stephen, and if I lived within a half-hour of The Logan, he'd be my regular masseur. He's the only one I've used who is better than my regular masseur at home, and he's excellent. Stephen's "gift" (probably from specialized training + experience) is a diagnostic finger-tip evaluation of every vertebra of your spine if you tell him you're having back issues. I told him exactly what had happened, where the knotted, painful muscles were, and my usual "issue" spots. After his spine analysis (no bulging discs, no painful tendons), he got to work on the muscles that needed attention for 50 minutes. I think that if he'd found a bulging disk or acute pain that might require medical intervention, he would have stopped the session and recommended that I see a doctor ASAP. If you've got serious back discomfort, ask for Stephen!
The quiet "tranquility" room and the changing/shower facility are excellent - well-supplied with amenities and kept immaculately clean. My back felt supple and strong after the massage. After a hot shower and some time in the tranquility room, I felt refreshed and relaxed. The next morning, my lower back was again a little tight, but less than half as stiff and painful as it had been the morning before Stephen's massage! And it improved over the next few days, still needing a little stretching routine each day, til it was fully back to normal.
One more treat you'll find at The Logan spa is their lounging robe -- full length and hooded, in a thin-fleece-lined lightweight grey jersey. A little ribbing at the sleeve cuffs. An ample belt. It feels like a cloud is hugging you. If J. Peterman knew these existed, they'd be in his catalog. They're for sale. I bought one, and it'll be my all-season bathrobe. Now I can say "The Logan Spa -- Been there. Done that. Got the lounge robe."

I wish I could also write a glowing review but my one experience there does not merit it. I am experienced with reflexology. When I had my reflexology session, I had to (cry out in pain) ---- ask the technician not once but THREE times to decrease the pressure. I don't have unusually sensitive feet and therefore this was not a relaxing experience. I mentioned at check-out that too much pressure was applied and the spa attendant said something about my 'next experience there might be better.' She was not overly concerned and I was glad it ended.

I went with two friends into the city for a girls night away. I made reservations for us to each have an 80 minute massage. The staff gave us a nice tour of the facility and got us settled in the relaxation room -- which was dimly lit, and comfortably situated with fluffy terry robes, nice chairs and a soft blanket. We were taken to our spa rooms for the massages quickly. I'd brought a bottle of champagne to share, which they put on ice immediately. After our massages were finished, the staff brought flutes for us to use for the champagne. We stayed in the relaxation room for an hour, catching up and enjoying the peaceful environment. Each of us indicated that this massage was the best massage we ever had, and that we would come back with our husbands to enjoy the experience again. Regarding massage therapists -- Dillon was my therapist and provided a great deep tissue massage. I would highly recommend him to anyone who loves a strong but calming deep tissue massage.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of my first spa massage with Hilde. Well, let me tell you - she was a DREAM! I workout 6 days a week and try to take care of my body - lately I have become so tight and stiff - not enough body care, too much stress, and not enough sleep. Hilde was just what I needed - she touched my soul!! Her method is amazing - she will let your body speak to her as she does what "IT" needs. I really felt so much better afterwards. I have been searching for a masseuse for quite some time that fits my needs and preferences - she is it. I will be back! .... also, the robes are just delightful!

We had two of the best massages of our lives. They were incredible. Emmanuela was outrageous.
But unfortunately children were running all over the spa grounds - jumping into and screaming in the spa pool, running outside the “meditation room,” and in the changing rooms during our shower. If just looking for a good massage and not caring about the relaxing atmosphere, then this is the place.

As a global spa connoisseur who travels a great deal for work, I'm happy to have discovered The Spa at the Logan in Philly. From the moment I made my appointment with Lanez for a Nirvana Stress Relief Massage to the end of my magical 80 minute session with my gifted masseuse, Cheryl, I had an exceptional spa experience! The staff were warm, and welcoming, plus the overall environment is serene - just what I needed. After my massage, I explored the pool, manicure area and spent quiet time in the meditation room. I'm now planning a return visit for my birthday with a girlfriend's retreat!!!
