Loved it!

A real must see if you love dinosaurs or are close to Vernal. Only a 30 minute drive from Vernal. So many fossils with a building built around it. Amazing.

The Quarry is extremely well preserved and presented as an archaeological dig frozen in time. Excavated, but not over excavated. Fossils exposed, but not removed. Apart from viewing the wall from it's two levels, it makes you really appreciate the work involved in finding and uncovering such a large site of countless fossils. A few interactive displays allow you to... More

We added Dinosaur on to our southern Utah parks trip just to see the bones - it was worth the extra drive and the extra night! Museum is well done, the abundance of big dinosaur bones is really something. People of all ages present and all enjoying themselves.

This almost unique collection of fossils from the Jurassic period is exceptional in its state and manner of preservation and the information it provides tourists and visitors of all ages.

If you love the National Park System, you will love this special place the perseveres the past. The amount of dinosaur bones in a environmentally controlled atmosphere, is simply interesting and amazing. The facilities are clean, and enjoyable. Staff is friendly and informative. It was worth the trip to see this geological wonder. I was there in the morning and... More

This State Park is beyond anything that i have ever seen. The Quarry is so informative and interesting with all the Dinosaur bones that are in the rock that have been uncovered. The Gift shop is nice and an added bonus for children that wish to become "Jr. Rangers"

We were doing a large circular tour and this fell within our area. Being national park and national monument nerds, we put it on the list to see. Sadly, we were not that impressed and would consider it 'ok'. Perhaps it would have been better when the kids were younger. Several years ago we visited the mammoth dig site in... More

This park was a little out of the way on our road trip, but we were both glad we took the trip. There were so many dinosaur bones, and you could touch them! We also had fun on the Fossil Trail behind the quarry looking for fossils.

This was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm a huge dinosaur nerd (even at the age of 30) and really appreciated the history here. The fossil discovery trail was really cool, however we only were able to find the dinosaur fossils (not the fish scales or clam fossils) I would recommend arriving when they first open at... More

Okay this is only about the Quarry at Dinosaur National Monument, inside the building. Firstly, it had been closed for a number of years as the building had damage from Seismic Activity but it has been re-opened up for quite a few years. You take a shuttle bus up from the Visitors Center so this is accessible for everyone which... More
