We rode shuttle to quarry. We did not do the 3 mini hikes. For those, I would recommend sunscreen, hats, alility to do short hikes in heat strain up steap hills, water bottles and no little kids. The quarry is inside and climate controlled. It is a mountin full of dinosaur bones which they have used as a whole side... More

This is an extremely fascinating national park. The shuttle is timely and takes you from the Visitors Center (Utah side) up to the quarry where your mind is blown by the vast numbers of dinosaur bones still embedded in the rocks. The rangers are friendly and knowledgeable. They will use laser pointers to point things out or answer questions. It... More

This far exceeded my expectations. Thought I would just be seeing another exhibition of fossil finds. Did not expect a huge wall of dinosaur bones! This is a deposit site that has been partly excavated, so you can see the fossils and dinosaur bones still in situ. A small road train takes you up to the exhibition hall from the... More

They done a great job with this one. You can ride the free tram or take the 1.5 mile hike to the Quarry. We took the tram up and hiked back down. The quarry is enclosed and the temperature is regulated so its great in all weather. They also have screens to show you what fossils are where and info... More

I expected there to be a lot more to see at this site. It is very interesting. But I would expect there to be more excavation completed over 100 years at this site.

This is amazing, and a must see attraction if you're in the area. They have a wall with thousands of exposed fossils, and it's incredible to think about what it must take to excavate a site such as this. Many of the skeletons are fairly in tact, and that is quite interesting to see too. This is part of Dinosaur... More

Viewing in situ fossils was amazing. Based on the placement of the sun, it was slightly difficult to see some. To offset that and make the experience more interesting and educational, they have touch screens to magnify portions of the fossil wall which you can then activate a program which will super impose those bones onto a dinosaur and show... The visitor center is beautiful, light and airy. the rangers knowledgeable and helpful. The tram is a quick 3 minute informative ride to the quarry. What an incredible experience. Seeing the fossils as they appear in the rock and dirt. Touching real bones and having a chance to see not only the dinosaurs, but real paleontology. I plan to return... More
