Finally checked out this hot spring just outside of Mammoth. This a very well-known hot spring and thus, brings the crowds. Even when it's hot outside, people still want to soak in hot water. Getting here is easy - look for it on Google Maps....More

Easy to find and get to a must when driving by . The pools can be I bit shallow . If I wanted to see large unatractive naked women I would have married one , I did not !

Two different pools, the heart shaped is way hotter but smaller. At night people party but if you get there early you will have them to yourself. We camped in the parking lot and had a little bbq...it was awesome.

Small pools, shallow, and too many people there mid-week and off-season. Road access was do-able but not fun.

Nothing like a sitting in a natural hot spring in the middle of a giant super volcano with unobstructed views of the whole valley and surrounding sierras. When we visited the cows were grazing right next to the pools

Our longtime Mammoth visiting friend took us down a road and then a dirt road to reach Wild Willy's Hot Springs. And it was well worth it. Two pools--one about 103 and the other about 112--were both enjoyable and were well worth the trip.

Had a great time in this off the beaten road location. Great views of mountain ranges. There was a fire somewhat nearby, cows and lightning. Two pools - one quite hot and one more tolerable. Fun photo ops with cows that came quite close. If...More

By luck, we went here when nobody else was one afternoon. I must say it was pretty creepy being all alone in the middle of nowhere. But, we quickly got over it when we were overwhelmed by the beauty that surrounded it--even the cows grazing...More

We arrived at the hot springs at about 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening. It had just finished sprinkling out and the weather was perfect. This was our first time and it was myself, my husband, eighteen year old son, and his friend. We were...More
