We came to Mammoth to specially experience the Bike Park. While it's a little expensive, it's worth it. (about $100 each) We rented three mountain bikes with insurance for 2 hours. We also had a tour guide (bike instructor) with us. It's worth the money...More

Although known for the downhill mountain bike experience in the summer, we really enjoyed the Gondala ride and then the scenic views from a top the mountain, worth every penny

At Mammoth in the summer we had the opportunity to explore the mountain to the summit by taking the lift. It it's probably one of the highest mountain in the west coast. It's worth taking you mountain bike and go down with it.

This is most definately a winter resort first but they have adapted the run and trails to some top quality biking runs. Hire bikes from the store at the gondola lift and choose which death defying route back down. My family and I chose to...More

You don't need to be a biker to experience the delights of the mountain, just ride the gondola to the top. There is also a restaurant at the top. A great experience for bikers, walkers or just to take in the sites.

I wonder is it expensive? $90 for bike hire and gondola ticket really probably not too bad. There is a free child under 12 with each paying adult option if you can use it. The beginner trail down to the village is 9km long and...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
First time to Mammoth. I need to bump up my spring on a Vivid R2C shock... are there shops around Mammoth that might carry one? Or... that I can call ahead and have them order one, pay over the phone, and have it there when I arrive? It's a bit too late for me to take care of this by ordering locally. Thanks!
