At ASO - Adventure Sports Outpost, we are a team of alpine junkies and Mammoth experts. We specialize in ski, snowboard, bike and paddleboard rentals, booking bike and hiking tours and have a wide selection of apparel and accessories. Our goal it to provide the best customer service, a friendly attitude and affordable prices all the time. We are excited to help you make your Mammoth adventure awesome!

This place is the best to get your ski equipment. They have it all...skis, boots, helmets. We arrived too late to get everything from the lodge rental, and someone recommended ASO. No long line, and the employees were extremely knowledgeable about everything. We were out within a half hour. When you get to Mammoth, go to ASO first.

No matter the season, I love to support ASO Mammoth. Great for when you've got people visiting or you're coming in from out of town yourself. Great shop, super great selection, and quality gear, but most importantly, the people are quality and they will take care of you.

The staff had no control of our party. They were confusing each other on who was helping who and what was needed. They didn't help fit the kids boots. One guy appeared and smelled high. Took way longer than necessary for everyone in our party. Would not choose this company again.

I am so sorry you did not have a better experience. Our number one goal at Alpine Sports Outfitters is to provide the best experience possible at an affordable price. As a new store this year we are constantly working to identify and create best practices and your experience will be shared with our rental staff to improve upon. We hope that if you do give Alpine another change you will get to experience the top standard we have for our staff and operations.

Making sure I use this spot every time now. I stopped in the winter season and summer season. Got a good deal both times and great service from everyone at the shop. Picked up some great gloves on the way out very happy with the place.

This place is a low key local favorite. Chop is incredible. I blindly let him pick out my new boots and skis last year, and they’ve been excellent. $200 less than the price I would have spent on the mountain, and he even knocked out the insides of my boots two years later when they were feeling tight.

First time renting for snowboarding. The customer service was amazing. They took care of my family and me. Set us up with boards, boots and helmets. They were very helpful and nice. Made sure that we had everything we needed to go up in the mountains and gave 25% off for first time rentals. Will for sure come back.

The staff is really friendly. Chop was really helpful in getting me fitted with my ski gear. Thanks! Their rental prices are significantly lower than renting from Mammoth Mountain.
