Our family with two kids ( 13 & 10) stayed at Village Resort, Mammoth for two nights. We stayed in a one bed condo with den (effectively giving us a separate bedroom for the kids). Accommodation and resort were both high class with no downside. Good choice of restaurants even for our daughter who needed a gluten- free choices. The... More

This place never seizes to amaze me! Incredible terrain, great snow and scenery! The parks always have great features and the half pipe is a blast!

There were all sorts of people riding bikes on the mountain. At the base, there was an area for kids to do cool stuff (climbing walls, trampouline bungee, zip line, beginning bike trails)

I had not been to Mammoth in years. They built a whole other lodge at the base of the mountain since the last time I was there. It is very nice and has a bunch of good activities for kids. Zip lining, rock wall climbing and trampoline bungee jumping. This is also the hub where you catch all the busses... More

Ride the gondola to the top- walk ( be careful of the mountain bikers, as the mountain is a bike park in the summers) to a nice overlook of the lakes basin. If you are lucky you might run into a ranger or docent who will give talk or answer directions about the volcanic caldera geology we are in.. Wear... More

Great views from the top, a little pricey but clean and nice ride to the top of the mountain. Great service but wished they had more places to eat, only had food at the top (limited choices) and down at the bottom only a very pricey place across from the tram. Not much else....

We were staying at June Lake about 15 miles away and stopped over to Mammoth one of our favorite winter places. I see a zip line, climbing wall and bungy jump for kids and knew I had to bring my kids the next day. $39 for an all day pass and it was worth it even though I knew we... More

Even my 3 year old refused to come back. Breath taking view, snow, the wild breeze, the Gandola ride...everything about this is *unforgettable*!!

Beautiful!!! Mountain biking was fabulous! The staff was great with my two 12 year old boys, who LOVE to mountain bike. Lots of fun activities around at the base for younger kids. Buy the all day pass as if you buy separate activities, it is really expensive! Bike rentals for kids under 12 were decently priced. A fabulous day!!!
