This little art colony, in the beautiful Florida sunshine, is NOT HIGH PRICED, packed with people from the northeast, or highly inflated prices. This is the real deal. Wonderfully friendly artisans who mostly live in the colorful homes that serve as their studios. You will...More

When we visited the Village of the Arts in Bradenton we were somewhat disappointed. Many of the shops and galleries weren't open, and to be truthful there weren't really all that many of them even if they had been.

Finally made it to the Village of Arts. It’s summer, very hot and not much at this time of the year. We’re lucky enough to visit in the evening after the rain. It had cooled off a bit. Interesting art galleries, handmade Jewelry, local honey...More
