Loved this exciting place! Great setting for a ropes course. My 7 year-old would have loved to do a longer, more challenging course, and she did the 5-8 year old course and then watched my son do the Junior (access to 3 adult courses) courses. Both had a great time, especially my son! He wanted to do all five courses with the adults. Helpful staff. Challenging and fun, felt safe the entire time!

Thank you for leaving a review! We are so happy to hear your family had a wonderful time at our park. Once your 7 year old does turn 9 they will be able to do that Junior course. We do have a Birthday Promo code that you can use as long as you use it within 7 days of the birthday, in your case it would be 7 days after because they will need to be 9. The reservation is also done with another paying ticket and you can show proof of birthday upon arrival. This will make the birthday ticket free. We look forward to seeing you guys out in the future for more swinging in the trees!

I was barely able to climb a latter to string up Christmas lights. I had scheduled a reservation based off reading the many pleased reviews of others' experiences at TreeUmph.

Do Not be intimidated to go if you have a fear of heights. Reasons why it is a must try:

1. Safety is foremost - builds trust, confidence and the guides watch out for you and in my case had encouraged me to conquer my FIRST EVER zip line, it was FANTASTIC!

2. Staff very organized –clearly defined-, addressed any concerns, and the obstacles courses well planned to build you up to be the secrete Jane or Tarzan!

3. Lastly, there was nothing like hearing the excitement, and laughter that bounced all around up in the trees also very contagious and it motivated me even more.

TreeUmph gets Five Stars all around in my book. Thanks to their pleasant staff for making it a delightful fun filled day! –I will be back soon and will take my 8 year old son as I know he will absolutely love it like I had.

The staff was very friendly from start to finish. They help you correctly strap into your harness and then you watch a safety video. You must complete the demonstration course before they will let you begin. We had a s reservation for 9:30 and I'm glad we did an early one. It was chilly starting off, but it was pretty warm by the time we finished and it was a lot busier. They do have mesh bags for you to put your stuff in, if you want to take it up with you. I would definitely recommend paying extra for the gloves, unless you have your own pair. If you aren't bringing your own water bottle I would buying the water ticket. Also, if you have people come with you, but don't want to do it they can walk around the course and take pictures and cheer you on. I do wish there had been guides at the part where you swing into the net, to explain what to do. They do have drinks, snacks and shirts for purchase. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back!

Our family of 3 went to Treeumph for a Mother's Day gift to mom. Upon arrival, the staff refused to honor the military discount they offer. On top of it all, they refused to honor the Mother's Day special they had, even though we went ON Mother"s Day. We still went on the courses despite the unfair pricing, and about halfway through we reached our second bad experience. On one of the obstacles there was a group of very slow climbers, and a HUGE lien started to form. The guide who is supposed to help people pass and regulate the traffic did nothing but play with his rope on the ground and ignore the situation. I was the only one out of us 3 to make it to level 5. I made it all the way to the VERY LAST obstacle when I was unwillingly removed from the course for "fear of heat exhaustion." They made me go inside to be checked out. Of course everything passed and I was completely normal, but I wasn't allowed to return to the course even though I worked so much to get to the point I was at. Beside that, I wasn't even allowed to go on the super long zip line at the end. We all had to leave without compensation for their shortcomings and not being allowed to participate in everything we paid for. If we paid $180 we should be able to do everything there. Yes, the obstacles were fun but it was the staff that made this experience below satisfactory. I will most likely not be back.

Although we had a good time during our visit, we witnessed a rescue by a guide that was less than what I thought was in keeping with the quality of experience that the facility is touting. The "rescue" occurred in level 4 at the Twisted Bridge. The guide was a middle age woman who did not have the upper body strength to pull herself to the upper wire. It took her at least three possibly four attempts for her to reach that level. In doing so she kicked the person she was trying to rescue at least twice and possibly three times. She also indicated that she had a bad knee which was contibuting to her rescue attempt taking longer than necessary. At one point she advised the customer that she might need to put her foot and weight on the customer's shoulder to get leverage up to the upper wire. Quite frankly, the rescue took way too long and scared the customer more than the fall from the obstacle. I watched the entire operation from another obstacle. I was there most of the day and witnessed other rescue attempts by the male staff that were completed with much more ease and grace. My suggestion to the facility is to not place this worker at any locations that require strength that she doesn't have to complete tha t type of rescue.

I’m glad you enjoyed your day at TreeUmph! Adventure Course and got to witness a number of rescues and our guides hard at work. There are many different types of rescues that our guides perform every day. The rescue you are referencing was one of the most difficult rescues we perform and was the only one of its kind completed that day…they are often not graceful, but they get the job done: mainly getting the guest safely to the ground. The guest was always safe and the guide was in constant discussion with the guest during the rescue. If the guest was uncomfortable, feeling ill or hurt the guide would have chosen a rescue technique which is much faster and does not require the guide to roll over the cable as you described. In the process of the rescue, our guide stopped for a bit and let the customer rest against her legs, offering additional comfort to the guest. The guest expressed her gratitude to the guide during the rescue and had no complaints for other guides or management. I assure you that all of our guides go through extensive physical and intellectual training to be certified as rescue guides and all demonstrate that they are capable of fulfilling those duties each and every day. We are very proud of all our guides and how much care and attention they give to our guests.

We came here for my son's 12th birthday. He is autistic, so we were initially concerned that he wouldn't be successful in completing the course since each individual is responsible for their own hookups/disconnects from the various obstacles. The training/simulation at the beginning was pretty overwhelming; even some of the adults in our party were like, "How are we going to remember how to do all of this?" After we voiced our concerns, we were assured that there would be help available on the course if needed. That ended up being an understatement! Special shout-outs to Rachel, Martha, Naomi, Hunter, and Phil for going the extra mile and spending extra time with my son to ensure he was knowledgeable, safe, and having a great time. These types of experiences aren't always super inclusive, so we REALLY appreciated the accommodations they provided. He completed the course and had an amazing time. Thanks Tree-Umph!!!

We were really looking forward to this adventure. We were treated kindly by staff at all times. However, upon learning there was a large group that morning which was causing a bit of chaos, delays through out the time we were allotted. Long lines, the groups cutting, the waiting time to get over one obstacle was unacceptable. The group was going on obstacles more than 2 times, moving around between courses. It was a disappointing experience, had we known that such a large group would have been there that day we would have scheduled for a different day. Especially when the obstacle course should have taken 2-3 hours it took 5 hours due to the group. May I suggest in the future maybe letting customers know of these large groups so they can plan better and be better prepared.

So, we went to Florida in March and spent an afternoon and $100+ at Tree-Umph. We spent another day and $700 at Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure. We came home. The babysitter asks, "What was the best part of your trip?" and the kids say, "TREE-UMPH!"

My 7 year old - who did the kids starter course twice - loved and it was thrilled at his accomplishments. I supervised from the ground and got a kink in my neck from looking up. ;-) The course takes only about 20 minutes to complete (?).

My 70-something-year-old mom, my husband and my 10 year old did the junior course (the first three obstacle courses) and the BIG zip line at the end. It was hours of exercise and entertainment and exhilaration. (Courses 1-3 take about 2 or 3 hours.)

The staff is OUTSTANDING. Helpful, friendly, informative in every way. (What a great job!)

Advice: If you are bringing kids, be clear on what the limits are by age. You have to be at least 7 years old (and a certain height) to do the starter course AND have an adult supervising - NOT participating. No adults on the kids' course! You have to be at least 9 to do the junior course (courses 1-3). You have to be 12 to do all the courses (1-3 + 4 & 5). Spend the extra money for the gloves and the unlimited water wrist band. And reward yourself with an ice cream bar afterwards!

We can't wait to go back and are looking for something like this near where we live in Michigan.

My husband and I came upon TreeUmph's web site as we were looking for things to do in the Bradenton area. We had never done anything like this before, so we were intrigued. I have to admit, we had a little anxiety leading up to the experience, but the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and they made our day all the more enjoyable. After a short safety video and a run through a small practice course, the guides pretty much let you do as you please, as long as you are staying safe. They are there, though, if you are having trouble getting through a portion of the course or if you need some encouragement. I was coached through a couple of rough spots and found it incredibly helpful.

The courses themselves are tons of fun, with lots of different types of obstacles, and plenty of zip lines to give yourself a break from climbing! If you buy the adult ticket, you have access to all five of the courses, and the level of challenge increases as you go. The first two courses were pretty easy and fairly low to the ground. The third course began to really test both my physical and mental strength! I consider myself to be in relatively good shape, but I struggled on some portions of the third course. I felt it was a true accomplishment to finish it. After a rest, my husband and I went onto the fourth course. Unfortunately, we could not quite finish it; our bodies were just at the point of giving out! This is completely ok, though. The guides make it very clear from the beginning that it's important to know your body's limits and to listen to it if it's telling you not to go any farther! In fact, only the most capable and experienced people even attempt the fifth course. My husband and I did not. Still, even with only doing three and a half courses, we were there for a solid four hours and felt we definitely got our money's worth out of the day. The experience ends with a huge zip line, which is a little scary but mostly just exhilarating!

For the $50 adult ticket, I would say the experience was well worth it. It was a fun challenge, and I am so glad we did it. I will probably be back again; I'm determined to finish that fourth course. But I've got to give myself a good rest first. My arms are still pretty sore!

My son and I did the Junior course and loved it. We were drenched in sweat afterwards (and in the water we'd dumped on ourselves to try to cool off during the course) and pleased with ourselves.
Lots of the obstacles are various types of bridges--rope bridge, bridge where the slats of wood are far apart, bridge of slats of wood swinging on ropes... but there was one very cool one on the third course where you swing on a rope into a huge rope net and climb up & over to a platform. That one was hard but fun, and by the time we got to it we were ready for something a little different from the various bridges.
The way it works is you climb a ladder at the beginning of each course and then move along the various obstacles up in the trees. Every course includes at least one zip line, and at the end you climb a very tall ladder to get to the final big zip line.
A couple critiques comparing this place to zip courses we've been on: all-inclusive pricing would be nice instead of tacking on extra for water in Florida at midday in July. Paying extra for gloves is also irritating. Guides could be more attentive, especially on the first couple of courses. There was a 70-year old on the course at the same time as us and I really don't think they realized he was having problems until he gave up. Seemed to me they could've been bringing him extra water long before then, and on the longer courses I wished they had a way to stash water in the middle of the course. (Not sure how they'd do that--platforms are pretty small). There is no photographer, so take a camera and find someone friendly if you want a picture of yourself and your group.
This is not an all-day activity, but unless your plans for "after" include some sort of watering hole, you might find yourself changing them. Everyone I saw seemed as worn out as we were after the course. We were tired and happy (ok, I'll go that low--we were "tree-umphant" groan)
