We had a mixed group - our ages, experience with parasailing and fear of heights- but the guys on the boat at Bradenton Beach Parasailing made this adventure safe and so much fun for all in our group over the Thanksgiving vacation. They gave clear directions, and while thoroughly professional, they made it fun for everyone. I am so thankful that we did this and we loved our experience!!!! It is a beautiful island and so fun to see from a bird's view!

Sadly, we didn't get to fly. The weather was crazy windy and the water was choppy. But we had a GREAT time on the boat ride out to the Gulf of Mexico to check the weather conditions. My two teen girls were laughing and smiling the whole time, even though they got drenched.
The guys on the boat (I'm horrible with names) were hilarious and very personable. We had a great time chatting. Katie in the office was SUPER helpful and so full of energy. She made us all smile.
We will definitely be going back to Bradenton Beach Parasailing when we get back down there!

My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas and we finally used it. The Captain and first mate made this so easy. They were funny and put everyone at ease right off the bat. It looked so intimidating, but once we got up and going, it was an amazing, peaceful experience. Not one part of it was scary. We would definitely go again, and will probably make it a yearly treat! The only thing I maybe would do differently, if it is even possible, is to pick a nice calm sunny day and call that same morning to see if there are any openings. It was very windy and the seas getting out to the Gulf side of the beach were very rough. It had no bearing on the parasail ride at all, but the waves were kind of high (for me) going out.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to go out for parasailing. We booked online for a 9 am trip. We were called and sent a text the evening before our trip that they would need to move our time to 12 pm. We arrived at 11:45 and were given our boarding pass and told to walk to the floating dock and wave our pass so the boat would pick us up at 12 sharp. We stand on the dock until about 12:10 and then we see the worker walking down the dock to talk to us. She informs us that the boat "decided not to show up to work today" and that we could try again the next day. Since we were leaving the next day they said they would refund our money in 7-10 days. We are hoping we see our money back. The only bright spot was that they called YOLO just down the street and got us booked for later in the afternoon.
Later we heard that this company's boat had "been down" for at least the past three or four days. If only we had known we wouldn't have booked in the first place to have to wait on a refund.

Ruined our vacation
We booked for Saturday morning, we arrived on time, checked in and then received a call saying the captain had cancelled due to heavy winds. We were told we would be rescheduled for 1pm Sunday. We received another call attempting to change our booking to Monday which we declined because we leave Monday. We showed up at 12:30pm on Sunday for our 1pm appointment and were told “oh sorry the captain had a boat breakdown so no parasailing today, you can check the other company down the street to see if they have room for you”. Needless to say i was livid as a simple call from them when the boat broke down would have saved us the drive and possibly allowed us boom with another company in time. This was supposed to be the highlight of our vacation and

Made a reservation, paid for it, owner canceled and never refunded my money and now I’m in a dispute. They don’t return calls and they don’t reply to any emails and my credit card company is now taking action. They took reservations knowing the boat was in operable for months. Confirmed through another parasailing company on the Island.

There were 3 of us, age 6, 18, 53, and we had a great ride today!! Crew were fun, expert, explained everything to expect well, gave an awesome ride 500 feet up—wow! It seemed like slow motion and was a very smooth sailing. We saw 2 sharks, 2 dolphins, a stingray. It was a beautiful day; the crew accommodated us after the hurricane went through to schedule us in. I would definitely recommend Bradenton Beach Parasailing!!

This is our 3rd time parasailing with this company as a family and we absolutely love it. They let us know ahead of time that we would have to go to a different dock on the bay side because of the weather (the wind had been pretty bad on the gulf side). They are always professional and we always feel comfortable flying with them. I’d absolutely recommend them.

The boat never showed up at the location. The office address that they used was for a different company and the girl inside claim to have no knowledge of this company. Do not waste your money. We are now fighting to get our money back. I have called multiple numbers attached to this company and no one is answering. I left multiple messages with no response. I’ve also sent emails and no one is responding. This is definitely a scam.

The kids from age 7-15 loved the parasailing! Some were nervous at first but once they got into the boat and saw how easy it was and the crew explained it. All fears were out the window. The kids would totally due it again. Highly recommend this business and excellent crew.
