A well designed museum, creative displays, excellent presentation of manatee rehabilitation center and awesome planetarium film. Reasonably priced. Great environment for teaching young minds as well as those of us who have experienced life a few decades!

If you need a relaxing place to spend an afternoon with the family, this is it. Be sure to catch the manatee talk and enjoy at least two of the planetarium shows. Planetarium shows are available for children and adults, but adults will even enjoy...More

The building is beautiful. The exhibits are very interesting and extremely well done. It’s a very unique opportunity to see the live manatee aquarium and a first-rate planetarium show in one location...and for just one admission price. Free parking on the street.Don’t miss it!

We were very happy with our visit here. Lots of nice exhibits, but our favorite part was the manatee rescue center. Very interesting, and you see manatees up close and personal! Kids would love this. Also a very nice planetarium show.

What a great way to spend a few hours. We enjoyed the fresh perspective regarding early Florida’s inhabitants. The exhibits are well thought out and easy to understand. Whatever you do don’t fail to visit the planetarium.

I have taken 3 out-of-town guests to the planetarium shows. ALL of them said that the host was so offensive that they would never return as long as he is there. He is loud, condescending, rude and thinks there are only 2 views-the wrong one...More

Mostly this museum offers a look at Florida, past and present. It also has a nice star show and a small aquarium. Enjoyed an afternoon there. The "star" guy is very knowledgeable and fun!

There is parking directly in front of the Museum. A new parking garage, across the street from the Museum, will be opening in April.
