This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that lets you experience horseback riding in Bradenton, FL. Begin your excursion by meeting our beautiful, amazing horses. 95% of these horses are rescues! Within minutes you’ll fall in love with this rare breed. Keep an eye out for wildlife, as it’s common to see manatees, stingrays, and dolphins swimming by. Palma Sola Bay is a natural breeding ground for our manatees! Enjoy the beautiful bay views as you ride with your gentle companion. Ask your guide about your horse’s story. You may even shed a tear when you hear some of the horrible conditions our horses came from. After a brief swimming lesson, our horses will swim while you ride them. The horses are never forced to swim; this is actually their favorite part! So grab hold of their manes and hang on tight! This almost feels like you’re flying through the air. There is no hard impact or bouncing as the horses’ feet do not touch the ground while they swim

Terrific Experience!

This was a 'bucket list' item, and I loved it! It was so cool to ride my beautiful horse and feel her swimming beneath me! And it was good to know that they were all rescues we were helping to support. I haven't ridden since I was a kid, but our leader Myah made sure everyone felt at ease. She took great photos for lasting memories. I'm going to remember this for a perfect special gift for my friends and family!

Do this. Not only will you have an amazing experience, but you will support the rescue mission of C-Ponies. Some of these horses have terrible histories of abuse and neglect, and the owner of this company has taken them in with a commitment to help them recover and thrive. It was clear that they were well fed and much loved.

I really wanted to do this, but am really nervous around horses. They gave me the sweetest, gentlest girl named Splash, and I barely had to do anything...she followed her best friend Nemo and clearly knew the routine. Riding them in the water was a once in a lifetime experience for us, and seemed therapeutic for the horses.

Loved every minute of this experience, as well as the photos our guide took of us...it was a great way to preserve this wonderful memory!

A magical experience with horses that are loved

Riding horses in the sea was a first for my wife and me, and it’s hard to imagine anything more exhilarating. The horses are rescues and are in top condition; you can feel how much they have been loved. And you can feel how careful they are with their human riders. Our group was led by an extraordinary horsewoman who goes by Misty 2, who was splendid. She was at once relaxed, funny and vigilante, and she shared with us the inspiring stories of each of the horses on our ride.

We had a great time, no complaints! Myah was a terrific guide! Knowing that we were supporting the rehabilitation of rescued horses was the cherry on top. Best excursion on Anna Maria Island, hands down!

Our group of 4 riders included experienced riders and beginners, and we all had a fantastic experience! The horses were gorgeous, sweet, and very patient with us. We loved it!! ( Ages 13, 15, 17, 48)

Another bucket list item checked off and it was SO cool!! Myah our guide was great and my horse was fabulous (don’t forget to bring carrots as horses love them). I had no horseback riding experience and everything was fine. When the horse is actually swimming it is amazing! I’d recommend to all.

So much fun! Pay cash for a discount. Dollars go towards beautiful rescue horses they have given a second chance at life

Absolutely a must in your lifetime if your a animal lover! I took my teen girls and they loved it. They make even the inexperienced riders feel comfortable. Your money for an excursion goes towards caring for these horses too, which are almost all rescues! There are several places that offer this service, but I personally highly recommend CPonies! You will get the story of each horse, it’s obviously they are well cared for and loved. Wear water shoes and clothing you are comfortable getting wet. You will get wet almost to your shoulders.

We came to Bradenton/Holmes Beach to specifically meet these majestic creatures and their handlers.
We were not disappointed one bit.. What a great experience my wife and I had to ride these horses. Each one of theses ladies have their own amazing story.
