Took my 4 year old nephew for a visit to Boonshoft for his birthday. He had a blast and didn't want to leave after the 3-4 hours we spent there. His favorite activities were touching the sea star, visiting the hands on lab, the water table and the area with all the pretend businesses. It was a very hands-on experience... More

Excellent for children of all ages. Very diversified in the sciences. Also very interactive with exhibits.kids will stay active and leave tired without a doubt. And well worth the admission price.

My children are 8 and 10 and we thought they might be too old for this place. Although there are a lot of options for younger children, my kids had a blast here. We did 5 experiments over the course of our time there, watched a movie and walked through the entire museum. There were people in character walking around... More

Ideal for kids under 10, this is a phenomenal way to spend a rainy or cold day and get some energy out. The zoo has a lot of great rescue animals. And if you need a birthday party in the heart of winter for little kids, this is terrific.

Fun appetizers before the wedding reception where we were allowed to roam the Museum. The exhibits, especially the Zoo with live animals was quite a fun surprise

Family of 4 with kids 5 and 8 cost $52. Parking is free and plentiful. We were in 30 ft RV and had no issues in or out. We spent about 3 hours here but mainly because the kids enjoyed the climber and slide. The exhibits were not very interactive with buttons that didn't do anything and found a lot... More

We brought our 5 children ages 10, 8, 5, 3, and 6 months to the museum this saturday. We loved it! They have several little pretend occupation rooms like a auto shop, court room+jail, Pizza restaurant, grocery store, recycling truck, and a vet. When we are in the area again, we will be back!! I would absolutely recommend this museum... More

A great thing to do on a rainy day. Very good interactions for little ones but not for adults. Nice gift shop.

I was very impressed when my wife and I went to their annual fundraiser this past weekend. I had not been there in many years. Some friends said they have taken their children there- there is a water exhibit and many animals and a lot to learn. It was much more impressive than expected. The fundraiser had a very nice... A science center, small animal zoo, treetop bird tower, planetarium and theater - all included in admission. A small exhibit area and a larger exhibit change on a regular basis. Science and experimentation are emphasized, but there are great play areas with science based fun. We have the grandparents annual membership.
