I love the different offerings at the Schuster Center. There's Dayton Opera, Dayton Philharmonic, Dayton Ballet, Theatre offerings, Musicals, Comedians, etc. There's a variety of seating and price of tickets. And the theatre is beautiful!

The Schuster is a beautiful Performing Arts Center from its glass enclosed Wintergarden to its star filled ceiling in the auditorium. The acustics are first class no matter where you are seated. I have been a season ticket holder for the Broadway Series and the Philharmonic Superpops Series, plus special events since it opened, and have enjoyed every performance.

I love this theater - I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. We saw Nice Work If You Can Get It (full of Gershwin hits) and it was so darn funny and the singing was awesome. It is one of my favorite shows I have seen!!! I have friends that I graduated from high school with (1962) and we try to get together and do something fun at least once a month (or so). We try to be economical so when we get the notice about cheap seats available at the Dayton theaters we try to book at least one or two each time the notice comes out. Yes, we sit in the balcony but as I said before, there isn't a bad seat in the house. So, for under $50.00 (dinner, show and parking) I had a wonderful night out.

From broadway to ballet, the shows are world class. Sign up for cheap seats on the official site for Victoria Theatre Association at www.ticketcenterstage.com

My wife and I attended at least a dozen plays in the Schuster Center during the years we lived in Dayton, and the experience never disappointed. The theater feautures a multi-story box-like design, similar to the Vienna Stadtoper, with acoustics specifically designed for stage extravaganzas like the Phantom of the Opera. Panels on the walls are even adjusted to configure the acoustics for theater and musical performances. We've enjoyed performances of broadway-style plays with elaborate sets, stand-up comedy, concerts, and New Year's eve performances by the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, all of which were a great pleasure. You can take a tour of the theater during the day on selected weekdays. The atrium of the theater is visually impressive and features a quality full-service restaurant in the lobby, and the upper stories of the facility are condominiums. Having seen several plays on Broadway in NYC, I find the Schuster a much better venue...no kidding!

Also, across the street from the Schuster are the older historic Victoria Theater and the smaller but truly exceptional Loft Theater, a real theatrical gem. Three great theaters make downtown Dayton a great destination for enjoying a quality perfomance.

The interior of the hall is stunning. The attention to detail is beautiful. I have seen several plays there and one concert. The acoustics are fantastic. I can't imagine there being a bad seat in the place.

We saw "School of Rock" & Jefferson Starship at the Schuster Center.(Two different dates) It is an amazing venue. The star optics in the ceiling are phenomenal. The seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room. We were in the 5th row for School of Rock. We were in the balcony for Starship. The sight lines were great for both. The sound is top notch no matter where we sat. The winter garden (lobby) is well named. We recommend going especially now for the December decorations.

I’ve been here for a handful of shows and I’ve always had a great experience! Obviously the theater itself is beautiful (especially the ceiling). I’ve never had any issues with viewing the stage, even way up in the balcony. Finally, I’ve found the theater to be very accessible and staff is very friendly and accommodating in regards to disability-related questions.

I have attended several performances at the Schuster, the last being the Phantom of the Opera. Wonderful acoustics and the seating is very comfortable. There is usually a wait for the bathrooms but there is plenty of time provided during intermission. The cafe provides a wonderful dinner although a little pricey...we enjoy it.
