This are is off of downtown business district that has both restaurant/bars/galleries and residential housing. If you live there, you can walk to all the cool places. Very convenient. It is a nice area to walk around on the weekends and perhaps go bar hopping and try different foods and listen to a variety of music. Plenty of people watching... More

We are fortunate to have this adorable district in the Dayton area. It's the perfect place to go with friends. Plenty of good restaurants, bars, and entertainment to choose from. It's nice just to go for a stroll too.

Stroll the historic district - brick streets and homes 150 years old that are real architectural treasures. Seafood, Thai, and many other restaurants, eateries and "drinkeries" can be found here.

This is where Dayton goes out to drink. It's the only area in town where you'll find a handful of bars and restaurants in walking distance from each other.

We enjoyed going to this little section in dayton. Some really cool older buildings that have been restored as well as some new construction with some great restaurants and shops. It's a nice place to walk around.

Title says what I experienced. Also the Goodwill Thrift shop was a find. Got a pair of cargo shorts in good condition for $4.10. Forgot to pack this item.

This is indeed the gem of Dayton, fun restaurants, bars and breweries. Take a stroll through the historic neighborhood and see the rehabbed beautifully restored homes. A must see if you are visiting Dayton

If you are a young adult, this might be a great area for you. My dad grew up here and my grandparents moved less than a mile away. It can be a little rough, but the neighborhood has beautiful old houses and there are people who are trying to make the area better to draw more visitors. I wish them... More

Our hotel recommended visiting the Oregon District and we agree it's a charming destination in downtown Dayton. We had dinner one night, at the truly excellent Jay's Seafood, and came back the next day to see it in the daylight. There are 2 or 3 nice restaurants and a lot of bars. But the charm lies in the side streets... More
