We always enjoy the DPO and especially their Classical Connections. The music means so much more when you know the story behind it or some of the works that have influenced its creation. We are so blessed to have the DPO in Dayton and to have them collaborate with the Opera and Ballet. All are so worthwhile!

For a smaller, Midwest city, Dayton has a kicking performing arts scene. The number of offerings and talent is a real Dayton gem! We bought tickets to DPO last year to check it out and at intermission promptly bought season tickets for the 2015-16 season. We were that impressed. As the season has come to a close, we continue to... More

What a wonderful orchestra! They teamed up with the Dayton Ballet for Romeo and Juliet and it was a real treat! I cant wait to listen to them again. The conductor was lively and able to answer any questions before and after the show. Loved our time!

We drove 6 hours to meet friends who drove 90m minutes to get to the Shuster Center in time for dinner at their restaurant and be seated and hear the Dayton Philharmonic and what a special treat it was. It was the second performance of the season and it began on such a wonderful note - everyone singing "God Bless... More

This is the perfect way to start your new Years festivities... wonderful orchestra, great dancers from the Dayton Ballet, impressive baritone soloist.. and in incomparable, clever and witty conductor Neal Gittelman, who makes the evening festive, with unexpected highlights, a champagne toast at intermission and all the glory of the Schuster Center. It is becoming more and more the place... More

We love the pops series every year - love the rock and roll - they tend to ad the unbelievelby good Canadian musicians who have voices to match every singer you know, to do the voals on these rocka nd roll performances, so there is not only great music but great vocals. The Shuster is an acoustical wonder on its... More

A great way to spend the evening relaxing and listening to the dayton philharmonic orchestra at the Shuster center. The Shuster center is new and the sound is awesome.
