Visited this wonderful venue to see a comedy routine and was very impressed. The restoration work that was obviously performed was very good. The upstairs lobby can be a little tight, but other than that there were decent bathrooms for a historic theater, the stairways were plenty wide and easy to navigate, and there was a bar both in the main lobby and the upstairs lobby.
Seating was very comfortable and good views of the stage, but I would believe that if you were much taller than 5'10" or had really long legs, it might get a little cramped for you.
The house staff were very helpful and extremely professional. Looking forward to another performance here.

I visit the Victoria Theater every summer for the Cool Films series. For under $5, you can see a classic movie, get popcorn and soda plus a free organ show on a Wurlitzer before the movie. On top of that, the theater is very beautiful. What's not to love?

The Victoria theatre is a cozy little place that provides some great entertainment. Across the street from its big sister, the Shuster, the Victoria houses some smaller shows, but still provides for a excellent experience

This is a beautiful, old theater. It is in excellent condition. We love seeing plays there as well as old movies.

Have been to many productions at this wonderful, classic theater. Beautifully restored a few years ago thanks to the generosity of Virginia Kettering, the Victoria is a thoroughly modern building beneath it's finishes allowing high quality productions. Comfort is excellent with one exception: balcony seats. Apparently in the remodeling these were not replaced (as we're the orchestra seats) and are quite cramped for most people of even average height or above. Pick a seat in the lower sections anywhere, however, and you will be comfortable with an excellent sight line.

The Victoria is one of Dayton's best historic landmarks. My first experience was as a teenager during the 1970's attending rock shows prior to its restoration. The current theater is very beautiful and well-maintained. I attended the recent production of Smokey Joe's Cafe and sat in the lower balcony. The leg room can be very cramped (I am 6' 5" tall) but we had seats in the fifth row which had a railing and walkway in front instead of another seat. I was very comfortable. The view was also excellent; much closer to the stage than the loge or balcony seats at the Schuster Center.

I love the architecture in the Victoria. The staff is helpful and many are volunteers which tells you how much people enjoy the programs here. Smaller than other theaters in area, gives one a homey feeling. Great view not matter where you sit in the theater. Would love to see more events here!

The theater itself is one of the most beautiful Victorian style theaters I have seen. They have a good selection of productions throughout the year and we love the summer film series. The only drawback is the lack of leg room in the balcony.

Social distancing is impossible in the lobby. No more than 6 inches between people during intermission and before the house opens. Wish they hadn't changed the vaccination policy after we'd bought tickets.
