The Victoria Theater is a 150-year-old historic theater in downtown Dayton. It's a great place to catch a performance. We recently attended a bluegrass concert but they also host all types of music, ballet, theater, speakers and sometimes even old movies in the summer months. The interior is beautifully restored to its 19th century heyday but with modern amenities like... More

Right in the middle of downtown Dayton is this beautiful theater. Well lit, clean, nice bathrooms, good seats, and great sound. we were there for a live concert. My only complaint was that they didn't open the doors until 7:30 for an 8:00 show. by that time the halls and lobby was FULL of people milling around. Kind of a... More

My wife had always wanted to see the ballet so Valentines Day was the perfect time. The Victorian was a great place to see it. The building has an enormous amount of character. The show was very good.

We have attended events at this location for years and is always a good time. Theater is older but has been renovated over the years. Some people may feel cramped because of size but the seats are comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This renovated theater is beautiful. However, the seats in the balcony are more cramped than an airplane seat. I have short legs, but couldn't sit straight forward. Maybe the seats on the main level are okay -- don't know.

This is a very pretty theater; old style with nice modern renovations. Communication with theater staff prior to show was excellent. Despite the vast amount of school groups attending during our visit, the show was on-time and accurately ran the time it said it would take. The Madeleine show was good and the actors were good. We will come again.... More

We have been going to the Victoria Theater since the early nineties when Steve Light transitioned this classy grand dame theater into not only a local gem, but a national treasure. I concur that it is difficult to find a bad seat. The place is fun even in the summer with movies, popcorn and live wurliitzer organ music. And the... More

I had the opportunity to go to Dayton for a performance at this theater and jumped at it. So glad I did. The care and attention to detail that has been done with this old theater is absolutely remarkable. If you have the chance, go. Just be sure to get there early to give you plenty of time to look...
