This park was undergoing renovations so I am not sure of the total area experience. It was very quiet and there were few visitors.I could imagine that it would be a nice place to sit and read on a bench overlooking the water or swing...More

There is something magical about this park. It has something for everyone. Grab a book and your mate and swing on a bench while you watch the sun set over Florida. You could picnic at a table by the fountain while the spray drifts in...More

Fountains, swings, fishing and beautiful scenery. They are ripping up the road in the area, so it is a bit of a mess.

Great place to take your dog for a walk. The views along the water and from the ends of the piers were stunning. I got several nice photos of the park and of several water birds.

This is a beautiful park, very comfortable, lots of places to stop and enjoy the view. Just watch out, in the evening, for an onslaught of gnats. But hey, that’s just part of the South Georgia/Florida experience.

Wife and I were visiting St. Marys for a few days, and the park was right next to our restaurant for dinner so we checked it out. It's beautiful - right on the river, with benches, swings, a playground, and a big gazebo at the...More

There is no beach here. There also is no beach at Crooked River State Park as another answer suggested. There are beaches at Cumberland Island accessible by ferry or at Jekyll Island and St Simons Island accessible by car.
