This is a beautiful park, very comfortable, lots of places to stop and enjoy the view. Just watch out, in the evening, for an onslaught of gnats. But hey, that’s just part of the South Georgia/Florida experience.

Kids enjoy playground, hunting for rocks and running free. Concerts are free and family orientated.ice cream shop near by as well as snack shack. Boat ramps being rebuild after hurricane. Some restaurants.

There is no beach here. There also is no beach at Crooked River State Park as another answer suggested. There are beaches at Cumberland Island accessible by ferry or at Jekyll Island and St Simons Island accessible by car.
