Wonderful national park facility! We did the junior park ranger program and camped at the campground. Excellent stop between Shenandoah and Mammoth Cave.

It was great to walk up to the Cumberland Gap and think of the many Indians and pioneers who travelled the same route. The continuation to the tri-state overlook was also neat. But neither of these matched the Pinnacle Overlook for scenic beauty. The hike...More

Definitely worth the trip. Rangers at the visitors' center were very helpful. Great hiking, but nothing too strenuous. It's worth a hike up to Tristate Peak!! The views from the Pinnacle Overlook were worth the winding drive!!

It is beautiful there. However, not sure it is worth coming that far out of your way to see. Maybe wait until your travels bring you closer.
