We stopped here for lunch after visiting Yorktown Battlefield and we were in for a nice surprise. Walked in greeted by nice people who offered us a menu so we could look; and this was followed by a very nice and efficient waitress. This place is a little pricey for a lunch option, however the views of the river are... More

Enjoyed this riverwalk on Yorktown Beach.. There were several nice looking restaurants available on the riverwalk. I believe its about a mile of "riverwalk" to enjoy a nice stroll down. Yorktown battlefeild is right up the street as well and the Yorktown "Victory Monument". Overall an interesting place to spend a few hours exploring a bit of Amrica's history with... More

For our third time we made out way from Williamsburg to Yorktown for the live music on the Riverwalk landing on Thursday night. I really think most of the town rolls out for the evening. Be sure to bring you lawn chair, a small table, blanket and be ready for a Great evening. This last time the band played a... More

his was our first visit to Yorktown and the Riverwalk Landing. We very much enjoyed the time we spent here. Riverwalk is a beautiful waterfront underneath the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge and overlooking the York River. It is home to the 105ft schooner, the Alliance which does 3 trips a day up river and adds to the great scenery;... More

There were a few shops, restaurants and a beach. The beach is small that is on a river but it was very nicely done and there were children as well as adults swimming. You could see it in an hour unless you are going to take advantage of eating or the beach. Also,YORKTOWN FREE TROLLEY-The free trolley provides transportation throughout... More

A walk along the riverfront affords great views and the various shops and restaurants in this nice clean parklike setting should be a must visit for anyone in the area.

There are various shops and restaurants along the landing. It is right on the river and there is a small section of beach for people to sunbathe and kids to play. If you go, visit the windmill and talk with "white man who screams like little girl". He was very informative. Nice place for an evening stroll.

Nice place to dine and take a walk after touring the battlefield. Small beach that drew a crowd. Good selection in restaurants. A mini version of San Diego.

Was there with a friend, but commented how romantic it would be to spend an evening walking and dining with my husband. Plenty of nooks for a picnic or to sit quietly together.

Small quaint beach front area with swimming, shops and attractions plus the historical significance of being the turning point of the Revolutionary War. A must visit if you are in the area.
