We watched our Coastie graduate "A" school in the church. What a beautiful facility. The instructor gave us a history lesson on the area and the part the coast guard played in it. Great grounds. We felt very safe, as standard protocols were followed to get onto the base.

A great experience not only to see our Coastie graduate, but we felt welcomed and safe. Protocol in place for the protection of the lives of those who work and study at the Center. God Bless America, The United States Coast Guard and all other Branches who protect us.

We didn't go in to the church, but the cemetery was really interesting. There are some very old graves and headstones there.

Amazing amenities for the men and women training here. Family friendly - made it easy to pick up and drop off our son. The views here are spectacular!

Gorgeous. Be mindful of the deer and the 15mph driving. My car does more than that without me even stepping on the gas...can be annoying. They have several eateries, but some require being either GS or being a Coastie. Again, I don't even know why this place is on here. It's NOT a tourist attraction, but it is very pretty.

I have been here several times now for training with the Coast Guard. No, it is not open to the public. After 9/11, most small military based like this are close to public access. But, if you do have a military ID, it is worth the time to check it out. There is a galley, liberty lounge, a Coast Guard... More

If you have Mil ID, stop here! Their BX has good deals on CG items and it provides a beautiful drive around base in which you may even see deers and the like. I go here often :)

Spent two weeks training at center as a civilian, stayed on base to experience what the coasties do. Good food at Port of York, Galley and Subway. Enjoyed friendship at Libery Lounge. Lodging with coasties has few amenities but hey, wanted to experience it. Give your servicemen and women our support they deserve it. Instructors and training facilities are first... More
