A walk from the beach, the view is amazing, the place can hold a lot of people and the staff is great.
There were a lot of Choice of Beer and we had the chance to taste different kind.
I would recommand to go there at Sunset.

We were looking for late snack and beers, apparently 9:00 PM is the curfew time for closing, but we found this brewery, no meals but able to try a few tasters and love the Rodeo Surf beer. We will return to the place for more taste when time permitted, it’s a shame the snacks are something rare to combine w lovely beers.

Made West was referred to us by a friend. Absolutely love the beer so many choices, Outside seating they have a different Food Truck everyday talk about delicious. If you haven't been to this Brewery I highly recommend especially for all those beer connoisseurs!

We met up with our friends on Sat. 7/7 to take a small brewery tour in Ventura. Our first stop was at Made Well. A newer brewery in the industrial area of Ventura.
The World Cup game was on Croatia vs. Russia. They do not have TVs in the tap room but had the game on the wall with a projector.
It was a small quiet crowd. Not many people sitting outside due to the unusually hot weather in Ventura. There is no A/C, just big ceiling fans, very humid and warm.
(My husband and I have been there when the weather is beautiful and I usually put on a light sweater.)
My husband and I like IPAs, unfortunately our friends do not. They had the Prospect Porter and Two Trees Pale Ale. Had a good time overall, just kicking back with good friends.
Pints are a little more priced than other local breweries (Institution and Topa Topa)
They did not have any Hefes at this time, which is my friend's favorite type of beer.
They do have a food truck available and you can bring in your own food.
One nice thing they have is a party room available for big parties like baby showers, birthdays, etc.
Plenty of seating inside, few molded cushion chairs, plenty of metal backless stools (more comfortable than chairs), some tables inside and outside.
Parking lot is small and fills up quickly, two handicap spots, plenty of street parking on weekends when businesses are closed.
usually a wonderful ocean breeze.
They have live music in the afternoons and night.
on to our next stop: Topa Topa

This is a great brewery in n Ventura. They have great beer. Nice staff. Comfortable patio. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly.

Always consistent Conor is the best at the bar. Never had a bad time. Dog and Kid friendly. Usually a Food truck on site. A local hag out as well

Wow, what a cool place. Great design, great beer, super good food truck varieties and bonus for those of us who are the DD options! We went here Saturday and we so impressed by the layout, the ample places to sit, it was 90 outside and nice and cool inside! Drawing the short straw on who was driving me and my two kids were over the moon with the choices of soda water, I got passionfruit lychee and my son's blueberry. Not sweet, but a nice infusion. We also love the shrimp vs chef truck, super kid friendly. Of course my hubby loved the beer :)

While in the area on business, I visited MadeWest one evening on the way to the hotel. First and foremost, I had visited other breweries in California and finally I found one that had more than just IPAs! I mean really folks. How many IPAs can you have? MadeWest had a couple but their menu was much more than that. Needless to say, I stayed away from the IPAs and can report that their beer is very good. I was also surprised that their indoor seating area was large compared to most micro-breweries I've visited. They had an outdoor area also. They rotate local food trucks through and the one that night focused on Korean/Japanese fusion. Very good. Overall, I can say if you're in the mood for something besides an IPA, want a place where you can take a few fellow employees on a laid back business night out, then MadeWest is for you. By the way, they have these cool vacuum flasks up to 40 oz. that you can have filled and take to your hotel. I bought one and had it filled with an IPA. (Yes, that was good too.)

Its a nice location with an outdoor patio. A little hard to find. They have games like dominos and connect four on the tables, as well as a ping pong room. No TV. Sometimes there is a food truck there I hear, but nothing when I visited. No snacks either. About seven beers on tap, and only one was an IPA. Pretty good quality beers. It looks like they can brew a lot of it. It was chilly on the patio, so bring a jacket, and some snacks. Some families with kids playing the games.
