My grade school sons and I ascended the very steep trail up to the observation deck and rode the tramway back down. Allow 4-5 hours for the long trail or 2-3 hours for the short trail. You will feel like a seasoned mountain climber when you reach the peak! Spectacular views of Texas,New Mexico and Mexico.

This is an attraction everybody will enjoy, unless you are afraid of highs, over all is excellent, you can view three states and two countries, USA and Mexico, the state of Chihuahua, if you are in El Paso and is not windy, is a must GO

The view is magnificent -- to see so far west, east and south. I took friends from Belgium and they truly enjoyed.

My son and his girlfriend met my husband and me at Wyler Aerial tramway for the last Sunday hike. We got there about 7 am and there were probably 40 other people there waiting. Two energetic, young park employees welcomed us and gave us a brief overview of the hike. It's almost a mile long and there are some parts... More

I grew up in El Paso, but never got to the top of Ranger Peak. While in town on family business my wife and I decided to take a ride to the top. The cable car only takes 6 people at a time and it took about 30 minutes for our chance to ride up. It's about a 4 minute... More

I would love to come back and go in the winter at sunset and take a picnic to the top! Stunning view, nice and peaceful. And for those of you that hate heights like myself, it only takes 4 minutes!

Price is fair and views are incredible. It may take some time for your turn during holidays and when there's is school trips as the tramway doesn't for too many people. There is a little store at the top with some snacks for sale. For the most daring, I believe you can choose to hike to the top.

I unfortunately went on a bad weather day, but it was still memorable and fun. The ride is quite short, so I didn't have to worry about getting sick. Kids enjoyed as well.
