I work downtown and love to walk the riverfront park at lunchtime. Be sure that you don't miss the sculpture garden by the Marriott. Kids will find the playground to be one of their favorites.

We take the family down to the riverfront park often. The children enjoy the water fountains in the summer that they can run through and cool off. They also love the play ground which has tunnels, and slides, and unique playing equipment. The grounds are lovely, landscaped with flowers and trees local to the area and named so you know... More

I used to ride my bike along the river in this park every day the weather permitted. The road is long and street traffic is minimal once you get to the Big Dam Bridge, which provides a beautiful path over the river allowing gorgeous views up and down the river. Once you cross, you have another huge park to explore... More

Attended a large event and concert there. Pretty location, nice grounds, easy walking distance from hotels and restaurants. I would certainly recommend this venue.

It was very peaceful just walking across the bridge, looking at all of the locks and admiring the water. There are shops right across the way to stop for lunch, must visit even if you're only in the area for a short time!
