Stone’s Throw Brewing is the product of four guys—Theron Cash, Brad McLaurin, Shawn Tobin and Ian Beard—who met in the local homebrew club, the Central Arkansas Fermenters. After doing most of the work themselves to turn a century old building in Little Rock’s MacArthur Park Historic District into a production facility, they began brewing operations on July 4, 2013 and opened an onsite taproom on August 1, 2013. Stone’s Throw Brewing specializes in small-batch, artisanal beers that are both creative and drinkable.

The Stone’s Throw Brewing taproom & biergarten is open to the public Tuesday-Thursday, 4:00-9:00 pm, Friday 4:00-10:00pm, Saturday 12:00-10:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am-9:00 pm. Dining is available from the Kent Walker at Stone’s Throw kitchen during regular taproom hours. Weekly events include #HOPSandHOPE on Tuesdays with $1 of every draft donated to a local charity, all night happy hour Wednesdays, #ArkiePubTrivia at 6:30pm on Thursdays, new beer releases every Friday, free brewery tours at 1:00pm and beer infusions at 4:00pm on Saturdays, and beer to go during regular business hours including Sundays. Current beer selection, food specials, and upcoming events can be via our social media outlets.

...and we had a lot of fun in Little Rock. Seriously, I wish this place was within walking distance of my house-it's everything I want in a neighborhood brewery. Friendly staff and patrons, a warm and inviting space, and great beer. The stouts and darker beers are superb. We came here twice and were sorry when it was time to... More

We visited this place as part of the "passport tour". She let us sample a few first. We ended up getting a pint of the Petit Jean to share and some spicy, locally made Chex mix. Both were wonderful. The Petit Jean (pear cider style) was the best beer I have ever had!!!!! I am only disappointed that I can't... More

This is one of the coolest tasting rooms I have visited! It's located in the historic McCarthy Park neighborhood in a renovated old Victorian storefront. They specialize in German Craft Brews and have a Southern Cuisine food truck outside to serve the hungry and thirsty. My business partner and I enjoyed drinking their Kolsch brew natural, which is naturally carbonated.... More

Came here with my wife to try the beers. I must say they were all good. My wife liked their pear cider. I am more of a stout and IPA lover. Whatever type of beer you like, they have a beer for you. They have different food trucks on different nights as well as a patio. If you come to... More

Located in an neighborhood without any other attraction like this (bar or restaurants) in the near proximity it's a great place for small parties! A bit of a hipster vibe, nice tables and gentle staff is by far one of my faves spots in Little Rock! First time I tried pear cider and did not like it at all, but... More

Visited to check out this new nano-brewery. Funded by kick starter it seems to be ploughing its own furrow in Arkansas' brewing scene. Staff are massively friendly as are the locals and there are tons of beers on offer. Food is in the form of a food truck which rotates regularly. When I went it was serving Cuban food. Best.... We have been going to Stone's Throw since they opened. Initially there were some quality issues. Now, each batch brewed is better and better. And; they are not afraid to try things, smoked beers, peated beers, stouts, etc. They experiment and improve each trip. In addition they have a true pub atmosphere. People even talk as opposed to being glued... More

This is a nice addition to the Little Rock beer scene. You get the feel of a close community while hanging out with others. They have a good variety of beer on tap and will let you taste any of them before you choose. There are discounts for military or for those who walk or ride their bike to the... More

Fabulous story about 4 guys with a dream. Important in the revitalization of the neighborhood. Small micro brewery with fun, friendly people and some great beer.
