    Unique night out
When Stephanie, our spirit guide as it says on her shirt, met us to begin class I knew it was going to be good because she was energetic and welcoming off the bat. Showing us first the wall that gave information on the founder choosing his passion as his career path diverged, she then excitedly spouted off their awards on the adjacent wall. Entering into the room with all the barrels she shared how the different gins, bourbons, whiskies, and vodkas were made and an idea of the composition of each type. Meandering our way to the fermenting room she had lots of intricate details to share to explain all the machinery down to the juniper berry component. During the cocktail making class she was a wealth of information on the history from sailor ships to prohibition to more contemporary makings of the drink as well as regional differences. Look, she even made their ice an interesting story. This tour was upbeat and definitely worth the money and time. I highly recommend it as a couples outing or just something to do if you are at home and want to get out to do something unique in Little Rock. You can leave with some grapefruit vodka or a bourbon creme or a plethora of other smooth libations. Ask for Stephanie, she will help you pick the right one so that you can go from class to your own glass.

    Very pleasant tour and outing
Interesting that this is the #1 thing to do in LR, which I suppose says something about LR, but regardless, we really did enjoy our tour there. Not a big facility, at all, but our guide presented a detailed overview of the distillery and the process that goes into making the booze, which was interesting. 8 different samples at the end offering a great overview of what the place has on offer. We had another drink at the bar (suggest their smoky gin Manhattan) which was great. Thought the bottles were somewhat pricey, but after 8 samples and the one drink, we were someone less concerned about paying.

It’s like hanging out at your friend’s house, with better liquor!
Full diisclosure-my son works here. That doesn’t change the fact that this is a fantastic bar IMHO. It’s well light, yet not bright. The staff are all knowledgeable about the products that are made on premises as well as their creative lineup of mixed drinks. While we’re on that topic, you won’t find better prices. The drinks are $10, tax inclusive (which is a big deal, since Arkansas has a really high mixed drink tax) and there is always a $5 weekly special. In addition their knowledge about their products, the staff genuinely like each other and enjoy their jobs. So much so that they often hang out together after work and on their days off. They also seem to enjoy seeing the regulars. Often seen joking and asking how they’ve been with genuine interest. I’m not usually one to hang out at bars, but this place feels more like your friend’s house if they had better liquor.

    Bourbon Distillery Tour
We had family visiting from Colorado who are bourbon connoisseurs so we decided to take them here for a tour. It was an excellent choice. The girl leading our tour was very knowledgeable about the entire process. At the end of the tour, we tasted a variety of their spirits. YUM! You get to keep your tasting glass. I highly recommend this place if you want to learn more about bourbons and treat your palate to the varied flavors offered. Cool souvenir shirts too!

    Knowledgeable and Delicious
We did the tour with the tasting and Jade who was our tour guide did a great job! She was very informative and knowledgeable and gave many recommendations. Many of the spirits were delicious and we got to try a variety of flavors. We bought a few bottles to take home and had a great experience and would highly recommend. One of the better tours/tastings I’ve been on!

    Great Product Horrible Service
We are local and love(d) this place… until two separate, recent visits. The tour is small and relatively short and WELL worth the money. We love the bourbons and craft cocktails. What we don’t love us being treated badly. I don’t know his name (usually the only male behind the bar), but he is beyond rude. He is condescending, impatient, downright rude and lacking of any people skills. We’ve had issue with him on two separate occasions and witnessed another patron react to his treatment of him and his wife. We’ve shared our frustrations with friends and have had several friends share that they have been treated similarly - and knew EXACTLY who we were talking about. One couple we know won’t return, because their experience/treatment was so bad. . If… BIG IF… I am inclined to return and see him behind the bar, I will turn right around and walk out the door. Rock Town…. If you’re listening …GET.RID.OF.THAT.GUY. He’s hurting your business.

    Calling all bourbon lovers
The bar offers 4 pour flights of their vodkas, whiskeys or bourbons. Cole was our server. He knew all the mash bills and flavor profiles for all the various bourbons and made recommendations about which bourbons to try based on our personal taste preferences. Every spirit was 115 proof and extremely tasty and smooth. If you like bourbon you should definitely try a Rock Town bourbon flight. If you buy 6 bottles in any combination of styles a 15% case discount applies.

Great distillery tour and beautiful bar
Wonderful, informative tour and fantastic product! We attended a Saturday afternoon tour, after booking online a few days earlier. The small group toured the entire facility (everyone was masked), and Stephanie was extremely informative. Then, we tasted a number of their bourbons, as well as learning about their gins, vodkas, and coffee liqueurs. A definite must if you're looking for something to do in Little Rock.

    Awesome Experience Touring & Tasting
An awesome experience all the way through. We started off by waiting for a tour time to come in their shop/serving area. They serve several concoctions made to your liking with their in house produced alcohol. The tour takes you through their operations area, and is concluded in their aging/tasting area. During our tour they gave us small samples of various alcohols made on site, some better than others but I do believe they have something for everyone!

They have lost their respect for service
Great products and cool vibe of venue. The only sad thing is the cocktail of the week comes from a dispenser - this feels like a way to cheat the customer and have less whiskey in a drink- why not showcase your products and just make a drink for your guest? This caused me to leave at one drink and go elsewhere for more and not buy the bottle I had anticipated. Cheat the customer and it will show.

I went on the distillery tour and tasting midweek in very small group. The tour guide was very friendly and gave a lot of information without sounding rehearsed or bored. It would be a fun place to visit with friends as part of a bachelor / bachelorette party or to celebrate at 21st birthday.

Make sure you try the Chocolate Malt Straight Bourbon. It is delicious.

Stopped in hoping to tour the distillery. Unfortunately the tours were by reservation only. So we decided to go to to bar/tasting room. The room was nice and we were the only two people in it. I ordered the whiskey flight and the wife had a James and the giant peach that she enjoyed. While I did enjoy my 4 sampling’s of rock town whiskey I was total unimpressed by the lack of interaction with the staff. They simply pour the drinks and placed 4 laminated descriptions of the whiskey in front of me. Had the far been busy a could understood. But I was the only one there. The sole purpose of a tasting room is to interact with customers and sell your products. All in all the whiskey was good. Interaction and product promotion a 1 they pretty much only spoke when spoken too.

Stopped in here while in SoMA for their Mardi Gras parade while in town on business. They offered some cool specials drinks with whiskeys and bourbons made here. Although no tours were offered on the day I was here, they are available, as well as tasting. Large room with lots of tables for seating - and at the bar. Small gift shop inside.
