The Little Rock Zoo is a little zoo and could use a little updating in some areas, but it is well maintained and the habitats are clean and the animals are cared for. It is a nice place to spend a morning.
I thought the Zoo was run down looking in many areas. The restaurants were as high if not higher than Disney World !! You expect that there, but it’s ridiculous here in LR at the Zoo. They get you enough with the entrance fee

Went with friends from Rhode Island. Their kids had never seen lions and tigers - not warm enough for outdoor enclosures. The zoo isn't very large, but it's something to do with kids if they haven't been to one of the huge zoos.

We had a great time at this little zoo. Totally walkable for my grade school kids and lots to do. We fed the lorikeets and the show was awesome. Ms. Kaitlin was wonderful and allowed my animal loving daughter to pet the rat and penguin....More
If you have ever visited a zoo in another city and then visit LR Zoo you will be so disappointed. Animals are skinny and the grounds are a mess. Could they not cut grass. The price to get in is ridiculous for what you see....More
