Pinnacle is my go to spot to exercise, decompress, and enjoy being outside. The view from the top at sunset is inspiring. The sun is setting in the west and the moon is rising on the east with the Arkansas River as the back drop. Take your camera! I love to put my dinner in a backpack and enjoy the... More

This is a great outing especially in the afternoon. You can see for miles on a clear day and a 360 panoramic view at the top. Pack a lunch and eat it at the top or picnic back at the bottom. Lot's of good restaurants on hwy10 just ten minuets away.

There's an outdoor experience for everyone here. From a nice relaxing ADA accessible nature trail to the challenging East Summit trail. Very interesting rock formations. The park is pretty much at the end of the Ouachita mountains. I've spent a lot of time there over the years, a favorite destination. Start at the visitor center. Check out the brochures for... More

Just 10 minutes from downtown, this place is amazing. You can take two different routes up the mountain, one is significantly more difficult. But even the "easy" side will make you feel like you had a decent workout. You don't have to be in great shape but if you are not, just bring water and take your time going up.... More

Really enjoyed this park. Not too crowded but obviously loved by many. Came to town for business matters and needed a place to breathe fresh air and clear my head. This was the place. Looking forward to returning.

Located a little way outside of Little Rock, this was a good way to spend some time on a nice day while our daughter, who we were visiting, was at work. I do not consider it a vacation without a hike. We stsopped at the visitor center to get oriented and pick up a map. The hostess/docent/attendant was friendly and... More

We went on a cold, sunny day. Clear with beautiful views. We went to the visitors center first before hiking and glad we did. Top 1/3 of the peak is climbing up boulders, so if you are not physically relatively fit, you probably should not go all of the way up. It would not be a pretty picture if one... More

We try to climb Pinnacle Mountain's West trail every time we visit Little Rock. It is a challenging hike with great views of the lake and the city. It has been fun to see my children climb this mountain faster and faster over the years.

Great place to go anytime of the year! Views are absolutely beautiful. Arkansas is a beautiful state and Pinnacle Mountain shows off its beauty! You can climb Pinnacle Mountain on the "easy side" or the "hard side". Over this past Thanksgiving holiday a very large group of family and friends climbed the "easy side". They were very impressed. It's a... More

Parking was very difficult, as we went on Labor Day Weekend. The trail was also busy, but that's to be expected. The hike up was very difficult, and definitely a workout. For more seasoned hikers or just generally fit people, it shouldn't be much of an issue. But if you're not used to walking straight uphill for about an hour,... More
