We chose this park because it is located between the homes of two relatives. I hate to say this but we just left a Corp park in Texas that was sorely lacking. We were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this park. Paved streets & sites, green grass & beautiful trees. The site was level and had a picnic table,... More

This park has beautiful views! And it's just twenty minutes from downtown LR--for out-of-towners who want to see the city. Besides the camping areas, it has a lot of pavilions for groups to hang out at. It's also very clean! And it's just down the road from Pinnacle Mountain--for those ambitious enough to want to hike up to the top... More

We enjoy camping at Maumelle Park even though it's close to home. It's convenient and peaceful. We've been have been there for two 3 night stays this year. It's easy to set up camp on Thursday afternoon and then go in to work or run errands on Friday.

We attended a large family picnic at one of the pavilions at Maumelle Park. The park was very clean and nice, with beautiful views and amenities. I hope we have several more family picnics there.

While I was growing up, my family lived all along Route 5 (now) Pinnacle Valley Road. We have all of our family picnics there. The bathrooms are very clean. Most of the picnic sites are on the waterfront. It is a favorite spot for campers. I've never seen trash on the ground. My family members still live along Pinnacle Valley... More

We camped here for two days in our RV while visiting the Clinton Library. The staff were very helpful. As a Corps of Engineers park, the rates are very reasonable, and include water and electric hook-ups. The sites are paved, level, and comfortably spaced. We were here in February, so the trees were not full, and it looks like later... More

During the summer I went down to the park to walk in the camping area next to the river. I found it not far from our new home and a very safe and shady place to enjoy outside to walk when it is hot. The campground is wonderfully enjoyable and the people so nice!

We had our annual association picnic here. It's a good location because the pavilions are reasonably priced for rent and there is plenty of space for parking and games.

We have stayed at Maumel Park several times. It's always a pleasure. I don't get to stay here any Longer than one night every so often (usually between late night and early morning departure) to next gig. Maybe we need to rectify that! Very clean. RV spots easily accessible. Level. Which is a plus. Pets allowed, on leash. Park attendants... More
