It is more a history tour than a ghost tour, but it is still a fun way to see this part of the City. We walked just over 3.5 miles, from Washington Sq & the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory site in the east to the Cherry Lane Theater & the “Friends” apartment on the West. Those unused to homeless & delusional people talking aimlessly could be uncomfortable, but there is nothing to be afraid of in that regard. The tour guide and the group you’re with always make or break these tours. Sam was very good, interesting & engaging, loud enough to hear without her shouting. (The group is a matter of luck, and we did OK - People were friendly and attentive.) The best bit was on the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory, a retelling of history in a specific, vivid manner. The people involved were well-described. (The story of Evelyn Nesbit was done the same way, though no ghosts were involved.) But the rest was basically “This building is/was used for this purpose, and people say it’s haunted”. Honestly, it hardly even matters if the people in the story are real, they just need to sound like real people for the storytelling to be effective. Sam did as well as she could with the material she had, but I’d have loved to hear her tell more dramatic, interesting ghost stories. Everything but the narrative was great, thus the 4 not 5. I hope the organizers can beef this up for the future.

My wife and I were fortunate to learn so much about SOHO, Chinatown and Little Italy as our guide, Russell, led us through the streets of all three areas of New York City. Russell's personality and knowledge of architecture and history made our tour seem to fly by. We were indeed extremely fortunate to be the only two people on his tour. So what was planned as a public tour became a private tour instead. This allowed additional time for questions to be asked and answered. During the tour, we saw many interesting things and had a chance to purchase pastries at the Ferrara Bakery in Little Italy. Russell was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure the pace of the tour wasn't too fast for my wife and myself.

Orlando was very very knowledgeable about more things that I could have imagined. How he is able to remember all the things he told us was amazing. He was also very considerate to everyone and answered every question asked of him. It was very cold on the day of the tour but he kept it so interesting that I forgot about the temperature. Thank you for a great experience

Patrick Kelly is rather unpleasant in email exchanges. We did not realise our New York pass was going to run out when we booked the trip (our mistake). We emailed in advanced to ask for help on the situation as to what our options were. He did not tell us we could reschedule for $20. Instead we turned up hoping to pay on the day. We were told we were not allowed to pay on the day so were turned away. 6 minutes into the tour starting we were charged the full amount for the tour. The tour guide could have told us this would be the case and we could have joined but instead they took out money and did not let us join the tour. A rather unpleasant experience. Patrick Kelly would not even refund us the difference from the full Payment to the reschedule payment. Complete con men. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are clearly just in the business of taking peoples money with no empathy for human error. They left a bitter end to what was a great trip in New York City. Avoid at all costs!

Patrick is rather unpleasant when people are unpleasant toward him. None of what you are claiming is true -- other than we charged you for not having your passes scanned. You walked up, attempted to have your passes scanned and when they were expired, you walked away. You could have attended the tour if you wished. You said you didn't want to, that doesn't mean you weren't going to be charged. We make it very clear that if you make a reservation and you fail to have a valid pass scanned you will be charged the full ticket price of the tour, no exceptions. You actually clicked a box multiple times agreeing to this. I recommend reading what you agreeing to in the future prior to booking.

We went on the Superheroes in New York Tour, with our tour guide Patrick. We used the New York City Pass by Go City (which as an aside, I highly recommend if it's your first visit to NYC), so in terms of value, it was amazing for us. Patrick was an excellent guide, we had a few guided tours during our stay, and he was undoubtedly the best of the bunch. He was extremely knowledgeable, and a passionate comic book fan, which made the tour exceptionally informative. He had a skill for storytelling, which really immersed us in the world of superheroes and painted a great picture of the real world history of the comics. I personally really enjoyed Patrick's Batman theory (no spoilers, you'll have to take the tour to find out what it is!). They're wasn't a massive deal of walking, and we experienced an unfortunate spell of light rain, but luckily there was plenty of shelter in the numerous scaffolding, so we managed to stay nice and dry. Highly recommend this tour for anyone from superfans to non-fans alike!

As we were with just the two of us, the walking tour over and around Times Square was very personal. Luke, our tour guide, has a lot of experience in the theater himself, meaning that a lot of his stories contained a personal layer. Learning more about the theaters and different shows enhanced our understanding of the Broadway show concept, and we would definitely recommend this tour to all theatergoers!

P.S. Luke, we enjoyed Beetlejuice a lot. Be sure to visit soon! 😉

James was AWESOME! He was very knowledgeable about both the history and “Hollywood “ tidbits of the neighborhoods. Added bonus, James was very funny too making this tour not only informative but entertaining. He was willing to take family photos, as a mom who is always behind the camera, I greatly appreciated this. He was relatable to my 15 year old son as they bonded over video games and computer stuff. Anyone who hold a 15 year olds attention and entertain them deserves ten stars if you ask me!! Thanks James! ⭐️

TopDog Tours did not disappoint. Our guide RJ was informative and a pure delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The tour was just enough time to get the highlights of both places. We bypassed the lines as well with little to no waits. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to make a stop to the Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island. Thank you very much.

We attended the DC and Marvel tour on Wednesday 1st February 2023. Percy our tour guide was super enthusiastic. We were guided around various different landmarks in New York and given a quick but in depth history of the comics, creators and 21st Century movies! Percy had such a vast knowledge and made the tour even more enjoyable! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Marvel and DC!
P.S. Percy also gave lots more additional information on the city and helped with things not solely related to the tour!!
My mum and dad also enjoyed it as they remembered lots more than I did 😂

I've done many tours in New York over the years but I've gotta say this one was up there above the rest, you won't find anyone doing tours around NYC who's more knowledgeable than our guide Percy on all things Greenwich Village and beyond. If there's anything to know about the history of that area and all the people and buildings connected to it then look no further than Percy,a very intelligent man,a very friendly man but most of all a person you feel comfortable around whilst doing your tour.If I can recommend just one tour of New York then this one in Greenwich Village with Percy is the one I'd choose.Top guy but don't just take my word for it.
