If we leave aside US Immigration people skills or lack of and welcome, my wife and I had a fabulous cruise to celebrate my birthday in October 2019. Trip began and finished in New York and Included Newport (RI), Boston (MAS), Quebec (NS), Halifax amongst other locations. The cruise was 'Port Heavy' and was a wonderful experience for first time cruisers and we were blessed in most part with fab weather. We were luck as the fall colours had just arrived and the experience of sailing down the St Lawrence surrounded on both sides by golden and rust coloured foliage in beautiful sunny weather will stay with me for a long time. The cruise team were great and the stops fantastic. If you ever get to sail into Saguenay in Canada you will receive the most fantastic of welcomes from all of the Town folk at the quay side. So many great memories, met some lovely people and had a ball.

What a beautiful venue! Absolutely gorgeous. The food was excellent. Great selections at the bars. Tons of staff so you were never left holding a glass or plate.

Business
I worked in this building in the late 1960s and absolutely loved it. My boss was 1st VP of a then Fortune 100 company and had a corner office on the 20th floor...we looked out the window at a statue, but I can't remember what the statue was...maybe a lion or a gargoyle. If access to the lobby is granted, I highly suggest visiting this majestic building. The lobby is beautiful.

Couples
We stopped by here the other day because I wanted to show my wife where I worked at one time. Unfortunately we couldn't get in because of security. It is right across Broadway from the charging bull. This building is an example of the architecture in Lower Manhattan at the beginning of the 20th century. Its a beautiful building and a monument to a once great company.

This building used to be owned by Cunard, who owned luxury ocean liners, and was his headquarters.
The architecture is of Italian renaissance style and the building has got many symbols and sculptures of maritime significance.
