The building overlooks the lower part of Broadway, near the Bowling Green where the famous Wall Street Bull is also located. The real attraction should be its interiors, but unfortunately when I was in the area it wasn't possible to visit them. Externally it reflects the New York skyscrapers of the early twentieth century, made of limestone in the neo-Renaissance style.

I worked in this building in the late 1960s and absolutely loved it. My boss was 1st VP of a then Fortune 100 company and had a corner office on the 20th floor...we looked out the window at a statue, but I can't remember what the statue was...maybe a lion or a gargoyle. If access to the lobby is granted, I highly suggest visiting this majestic building. The lobby is beautiful.

This building used to be owned by Cunard, who owned luxury ocean liners, and was his headquarters.
The architecture is of Italian renaissance style and the building has got many symbols and sculptures of maritime significance.

What a beautiful venue! Absolutely gorgeous. The food was excellent. Great selections at the bars. Tons of staff so you were never left holding a glass or plate.
