Our travel companionship with Olidaytours began with a simple WhatsApp contact with Oli when we were looking for an exclusive New York tour for our family, including my in-laws. Oli presented us with various tour options, from which we ultimately chose one. I would particularly like to emphasize the variety of German-speaking guides in Oli's team. Here, every individual wish is really taken into account and implemented.

Jonathan, our guide, enabled us to experience the heart of New York in a way that we would never have achieved on our own. His expertise and adaptability allowed us to immerse ourselves deeply in the fascination of the city.

After my mom (76 years old) and I came to New York City by ship from Hamburg and only had 1.5 days in the city, we wanted to see as much as possible in a short time. And in a way that my mom could understand a lot (she doesn't speak English). When I was doing Google research for a German-language city tour for NYC, thank God I came across Oli and wrote to him via WhatsApp. From then on, everything went like clockwork!!! And our anticipation of New York grew with each passing day. We are overwhelmed by how professional, yet friendly, relaxed and helpful Oli is, giving his best for everyone so that you spend exactly the time in NYC you imagine, only better. There may be thousands of people who do city tours in NYC - but show me someone better than Oli 😉 - I bet there isn't one. We couldn't even hire Oli himself as a guide because others were quicker, but he arranged for Dani to be our tour guide one day and we walked through New York and the next day we drove from the cruise terminal to the most beautiful places in the most beautiful SUV ever with Richard (a native New Yorker), ate the best burgers and did so much more that when we arrived at the airport we felt like we had easily been in NY for a week. We said goodbye to Richard with tears in our eyes. We really hope we'll see each other again 😍
The tour was worth every cent.

An unforgettable day in New York - thanks to Oli!

We were very lucky to have an unforgettable day in New York with Oli as a tour guide (private tour)! Since we have been to New York several times, we wanted to see something different this time and were especially looking forward to the surrounding boroughs and less touristy corners. Oli really exceeded our expectations and gave us a whole new view of the city. From Brooklyn and Queens to New Jersey, each station had its own charm that Oli brought us closer to.

The tour was perfectly matched to our wishes, and we even had the opportunity to explore the city by car. So we saw an incredible amount and could experience the different vibes of the neighborhoods. It was also particularly impressive that Oli captured the most beautiful moments for us during the tour. So we now have high-quality photos that we can use to review this day again and again – a really great memory!

Oli is simply a super personable person who makes every tour special with his knowledge and a pleasant manner. We had real fun, laughed a lot and felt completely comfortable.

Thank you, Oli, for this special tour and the great day! We experienced New York from a side that would otherwise have been hidden from us. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to experience the city in all its diversity!

A unique experience

I am still amazed by this incredible experience. Oli showed me his New York in an impressive way. It was incredibly fast-paced, entertaining and extremely interesting.

Oli has a talent for taking people on trips and showing them the best parts of New York. He gives you the feeling of being closer to the city and being able to experience it in a special way.

Oli is an absolute must in New York.

Oli should be included in the list of sights in New York. He is a really great guy and very helpful. He gave us so many helpful tips and planned tours for us so that we could see everything we wanted and not waste unnecessary time in queues or overcrowded group buses. If you are German and are coming to New York, you absolutely have to get in touch with Oli.
We would contact him again and again and recommend him to others.

We have to give a big compliment to Oli at this point!
We heard about Oli through friends and immediately asked him about a day tour of NYC. It didn't take long and we received a voice message from him that lasted several minutes. We then told him which sights we had in mind.
Unfortunately, it turned out that our time frame for the specified tour was too tight and we were therefore unable to book a tour through Oli.
Nevertheless, Oli promptly gave us good tips and advice, free of charge of course, so that we are now well prepared for our trip through Washington DC and NYC.
We can only recommend Oli at any time!!
He is simply top as a planner and guide.
We give him five out of five stars. 😊

We were in New York for the first time and didn't just want to see the eye-catchers.
Thanks to the Internet, we discovered OliDayTour and contacted them via email. Oli got back to us immediately by phone and
his open and relaxed manner won us over immediately.
We booked the day with Oli about 6 months before our trip and Oli was there to help us the whole time with information, tips and
advice.
The day we spent with Oli was just perfect and very informative. Exactly as we imagined.
Our tour took us through Manhattan, Williamsburg, Brooklyn and New Jersey and we got to know the city, people and history
in one day in a way that we would never have gotten to know after a week,
without Oli.
You didn't have the feeling of being with a "tour guide" who was just going through his program. We spent a super relaxed day in New York with Oli and really got a lot of impressions and information about New York. Oli showed us New York in his own way, with his eyes and from his perspective and the whole package is just right.

If you really want to see and experience New York, then Oli is exactly the right companion!!!

We spent 9 nights in New York as a family (20-60 years old) for the first time at the beginning of August.
I had tried to prepare myself beforehand with the help of several travel guides.
We found out about
OliDayTours through a friend and then, together with a family friend, booked a full-day German-language private tour with Christian for New York. It was great that we had already received lots of tips from Christian via WhatsApp in Germany (before the trip) and were able to ask all sorts of questions about our stay. That helped us a lot in the first few days (alone) in NYC. Our booked OliDayTour then took place after our friends arrived. I would recommend everyone to do the tour at the beginning of their stay in NYC.
The tour with Christian took about 7 to 8 hours on foot, by ferry and by subway, and was fantastic! We were in exciting corners of New York that we wouldn't necessarily have gotten to on our own (just with a travel guide). Christian told us lots of interesting things that we didn't know and wouldn't have found in a normal travel guide.
Thank you Christian for the exciting and informative day - all eight of us really enjoyed it!

I came across Oli through a report on ZDF. A cruise was planned starting in New York.
I first contacted him via WhatsApp. The first reply came within minutes.
Due to the time difference, Oli contacted me by phone the next day.
It quickly became apparent that there was not enough time between my arrival time in the evening and boarding the ship (at noon) for a tour with Oli.

And now the big surprise: Oli sent me a 14-minute voice message with options for seeing the suggested sights on my own.

No sooner said than done - I was on Broadway that evening, and on Sunday morning I saw Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and by chance the New York Marathon in the morning.
We drove right past the Statue of Liberty (as Oli said) on the cruise ship.
Thank you very much Oli for the great information.
Hopefully we'll see each other on our next visit.

Great tour through NY with Olidaytours

Even at home, Olidaytours prepared us perfectly for our NY experience. We also had the opportunity to call Christian in advance and tell him all our wishes. On day X, Christian was waiting for us right on time in front of our hotel. We had a super informative day away from the usual tourist hotspots. That's exactly what made everything so personal. Christian's knowledge of Jewish life in NY is impressive. Christian prepared us very well for our next few days in the city with lots of tips. We also had the opportunity to ask questions before and after the tour - we felt really well looked after at all times. Dear Christian - thank you for this great day with you - we will never forget it. 100% recommendation!!
