Recently saw School of Rock at Winter Garden Theatre. Great venue. The musical was fairly similar to the movie. The cast was fantastic. The guy who played the Jack Black character was spot on. Good singer not great but neither was Jack Black. Most of...More

We really liked the movie and this show followed the movie very closely. The lead actor was hilarious and had a strong voice and the kids were fantastic. They had announced that the kids played their own instruments and you could tell they weren't faking....More

I had seen the movie, but wanted to see it as a live show. We were amazed with the talented children. The adult actors were excellent as well. It was very high paced and not a boring moment. There was a good amount of humour...More

We’re in NYC with our 2 teenage boys, felt compelled to get them to at least one Broadway show (musicals are not their thing). Wanted a show the boys would enjoy as 4 tickets don’t come cheap. Did my research and ended up going straight...More

Wow! What a great matinee show to take the kids to. The show was major high energy! The kids in the show actually play their instruments. We went to TKS in time square and got tickets the day of the show. Got 17th row center...More

I wasn't sure what to expect going in as I really enjoyed the movie. It did take me a little bit to warm up the lead character, but he was tremendous. By the end of the movie you felt you were actually part of a...More

An amazing show that had my thirteen year old cheering and singing right along! We laughed and related so many of the characters to her friends! The live music played by the kids on stage was beyond words! If they hadn’t announced it I don’t...More

Nice show which tightly follows the movie. While the lead does a great job, Jack Black is a very hard act to follow. The children were wonderful and all enjoyed the show.

A substitute teacher changes the direction of elementary school children when he introduces music to the class. A musical comedy. Several students actually play on stage. Very upbeat songs.

I would suggest calling the Winter Garden theater box office directly. I have heard of Venues that allow caregivers to accompany a disabled person for free, but I am not sure if that applies to Broadway shows. Good luck... More

Hiya! While we love all the little rockers, we recommend that kids be 8+ to see and fully rock out to the show. The theater also requires that the kids be at least 4 years old to be admitted into the theatre.
