I first learned about the carousel while watching one of my favorite guilty pleasure TV shows – “Younger” where two of the characters went there on an evening date. While the ambiance was probably better at night, the experience was still fun. It’s absolutely beautiful...More

What a clever idea a carousel made of magical glass sea creatures. A nice area too to stroll around in. Would recommend.

My teen and I rode the carousel and enjoyed it. The ride isn't very long, but it's cute and fun for only $5.

We stopped by this on a lark. We were staying nearby and decided to walk to Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty at night. We saw the SeaGlass Carousel as we were walking and decided to stop in. This was late, 8-9pm, and...More

I love carousels but this is my favorite for sure. It feels like been underwater in a magical ride. The pictures I had seen and the videos we've made don't live up to the experience of being inside of it. Love it!

A neat experience, my little ones loved it! Its very unique and fairly inexpensive for the amount of time they let you ride.

Went back here after a few years away, and it's still the same fun experience for kids and grown ups. Like riding a carousel in the middle of the ocean, while the dreamiest music plays around you. A great stop on the way to the...More

We stopped by to see this because we were interested to see how they made it out of glass. But, it turned out to be fiberglass. It cost $5 for a 3 min ride so we passed on that part. It was interesting but we...More

Yes, it does have seat belts, and yes you have to wear them. Now a days, I think you have to wear seat belts in most carousels because of the lawsuits they may suffer if something happens.

Myself and a friend got off the ferry and just walked over to the Carousel and got on immediately, this was on a Tuesday and mid afternoon. Neither of us will see 40 again but it was a lovely ride!
