We spent a good deal of time on and near Seventh Ave, walking to other attractions or on the avenue itself. Lots of places to shop and attractions to see. Very safe and always someone who was willing to help with directions and advice.

This is where a Long Islander's trip to Manhattan begins. Busier than 6th Ave but grittier. Leads right into Times Square.

This is the famous garment district. This is also centered around Penn Station. No shortage of hotels, great restaurants, bars, and wonderful shopping. Can be hectic during rush hour. But great Happy Hours!

Seventh Avenue is the fashion district in NYC. This is where the fashion designer showrooms and business centers are. Some are open to the public seasonally for sample sales.

The Seventh Avenue is the heart of NYC. Hosting iconic Times Square and many top brands outlets, you can enjoy it especially in the night. Quit crowded.

This could be considered Main Street NYC, for both good and bad reasons. Of course the traffic is crazy, but thats part of NYC. The street has a lot of shops and restaurants. There are also numerous subway stops on the street.

This street has many landmarks and places of interest along its path mainly is Time Square but this avenue is well worth a wander up and down.

This major avenue runs through many important districts of Manhattan and is clogged with traffic. Not especially pretty, but you'll find lots of important places along it.
