We did the NY Public Library hunt, and it was a lot of fun. The best thing about the hunt was getting exposed to the NY Public Library. Its a beautiful building with much more going on than I expected. Organizing the hunt, including getting my many questions answered was easy; responsiveness was excellent and communication was clear. The hunt itself was very good although many clues were very easy and there wasn't much creativity needed. But I would recommend for sure.

This past weekend I brought 16 teen-age Girl Scouts from the suburbs to the American Museum of Natural History for the Secret City Scavenger Hunt. Every one was fully engaged in the hunt and had an amazing experience.
I worked with Jared leading up to the day. He wrote back almost immediately every time I had a question, met my schedule, and even offered helpful alternatives.
I highly recommend this company. I hope to be doing another hunt soon with my troop, or my friends.

What a terrific activity! Our company did the Grand Central Terminal hunt as part of our holiday celebration this year. The two-hour hunt had us running all through this beautiful, historic building which allowed us to discover lots of fun facts and nooks and crannies. The race-against-time element made it great fun, especially when we saw our co-works just steps ahead or behind! The clues are NOT EASY and some ingenuity and quick thinking are required. Be prepared to work up a sweat!

Awesome. We were three adult families who spilt ourselves up into 3 teams and we all had a better time than we thought we would. Everyone said they would do another scavenger hunt again! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. Would highly recommend for team-building, corporate activities, birthday parties, etc. We booked the Midtown Manhattan scavenger hunt for our new hire orientation. Weather didn't cooperate so we switched to the Grand Central at the last minute. Secret City was amazing at setting everything up.

Secret City Scavenger Hunts was a great team-building activity! We had booked an outdoor midtown hunt, but unfortunately the incessant rain made that impossible. We switched to the Chelsea Market hunt on the morning of our scheduled outing and had a great time. The clues were fun, and allowed us to explore Chelsea Market in a creative way. The best part of working with Secret City was the level of customer service and communication. They made sure that I was comfortable with the hunt I selected and that everything went according to plan, and they took great care of us. Would definitely work with them again!

My law firm did the Secret City scavenger hunt at The Met for a large corporate group of 70 lawyers. They all really enjoyed themselves and thought it was great for team-building. It was just enough of a challenge for really smart people. A fast but good way to see lots of the museum in 2 hours. Definitely recommend for corporate programs!

Secret City's scavenger hunt in Central Park was amazing! We wanted a fun way to learn more about the park with our 9 year old, and it was perfect. Who knew there were so many cool, hidden gems from statues and playgrounds to chess and an author's walk. We also really liked the paper/pencil aspect! It was a nice 2-hour break from using our phones to navigate around NYC. Jared was extremely flexible in helping us find a solution for our dates/times/party size. I would DEFINITELY recommend Secret City!

Tried out Secret City for a team bonding activity at my company. Our goal was to get out of the office, get some sun, and be tourists in our own city! This was the perfect choice for our team. Jared, director of Secret City, was extremely helpful and responsive. Everything was organized for us from start to finish. Our host Leigh was energetic and got us off to a great start. This was a really fun event that my colleagues are still talking about. Highly recommend if team bonding is a priority for you/your company!

My daughter celebrated her 15th birthday with a Secret City Scavenger Hunt in Grand Central. The girls had a blast! We will definitely book again.

We do private scavenger hunt competitions for groups. While we can certainly run a private hunt for a group of 3, it's priced more affordably for larger groups. At this time we do not have public hunts. Please contact us to discuss planning a private hunt for your group!
