Walking tour around the 9/11 Memorial. We took a special waking tour around the 9/11 Memorial given by Ed and Lisa. We were able to visualize the Twin Towers from their descriptions and they explained where certain events took place. I would highly recommend this tour if you would like a deeper understanding of what happened on 9/11.

The outdoor tour of the 9/11 Memorial was by far one of the best tours I have been on. Our tour guides, Ed and Lisa, took us back to September 10, 2001, when the Twin Towers were still standing. They helped us to visualize what took place on 9/11, as well as where some took their final steps. They were both extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about the tour. I would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting NYC.

Words cannot adequately express how grateful my husband and I are that we got to spend a few hours with our guide, Ed Welter. To be at the 9/11 Memorial with a person so knowledgeable was an incredible experience. We learned so much, met some very special people (including Ed!), and came away with an even deeper appreciation for the bravery and sacrifice of that awful day. We hope to visit NYC again someday and take another tour. Ed will be the first person we call!

Even after living in Manhattan for over a decade there is still so much I don't know. Ed Welter's tour opened my eyes to a whole section of the city's history that I had never really known about. He has a true passion for his subject and is a gifted storyteller. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get out for some fun and see a part of downtown in an entirely new light.

We took the Woolworth Building and 9/11 tour and our guide was thorough, and made the whole experience wonderful and enjoyable. I would certainly consider them for any future tours!

We had the opportunity to go on a tour of the Woolworth Building with Ed Welter. It was just amazing!! Ed's knowledge of the history of the building and the surrounding area was so impressive. His passion and enthusiasm for the subject matter made it so very interesting! He was happy to answer all of our questions and knew about all aspects of this grand building. We look forward to going on the other tours that Ed offers! If you only had one day in NYC do this tour with Ed. You will not regret it!

I learned so much from Ed Welter touring the gorgeous Woolworth building, the 911 Memorial Site, and everything in between! He is so knowledgeable and taught me so much about NYC and the history behind every building or monument we passed by. Truly an unforgettable tour and highly recommended.

Ed Welter knows a lot about the history of Manhattan. You can tell he's passionate about it and really excited to share information. He readily answered our questions and gave names of books and resources he used in case we want to learn more. He provided headsets so we could all hear, even as we were walking. This was a great tour; my husband and I had a lot of fun.

My husband and I took Ed Welter's Brooklyn bridge tour and can only rave about it. First of all, Ed is very knowledgeable about downtown NYC. He brings history to life. We've taken tours with him before and we are never sorry. He is great. Worth every penny.

This is a must see! Amazing building with a fascinating story. Anyone can have the facts - it is the way the story is told that makes it interesting. Mannahatta Tours expertise is finding the hidden gems in the story telling. As a result, the tour is experienced like a page turning novel that you don't want end. Take this tour and enjoy - you won't be disappointed! Also, had the same consistent experience with other Mannahatta Tours as well.
