Like other travelers, I've had some bad experiences with GoAirLink --in the past. I really think these folks have started paying attention and are working hard to clean up their act. For several trips over the past year, this shuttle has been stunningly on time --as in, just ten minutes past my assigned time just this past trip. The drivers have been courteous and communicative. Naturally, you'll never be as in control with this service as you would be, say, if you took the subway to the airport. The plus side is that your bag is in the back, you sit in the van, and you get dropped off on the sidewalk in front of your terminal. Utterly painless. And, of course and as with the subway: there's not much control over your fellow passengers. Welcome to New York.

It’s a ride- no complaints but nothing special-for first timers it may be ok-new York traffic is something else-

Hi Fathima M, Traffic, weather or when there is more business than what we anticipated may delay our vans driving to and from the airport. Easily booked online from UK prior to flying into New York, USA. Scheduled collection from our hotel to airport flying out of Newark airport. Confirmation emails received on booking and near to travel date. Bus collected us from hotel promptly at their suggested collection time based on flight details. Driver courteous and helped with luggage on and off bus. Clean bus. Journey uneventful. Arrived at airport with ample time. Driver confirmed airlines and dropped off at correct terminals and check in desks. Great service. Cannot fault. No hassle. Swift and easy. Driver friendly and helpful. Would use service again.

We arranged this on line and paid the fee. We arrived at the point of service more than half an hour before the arranged time and waited patiently. There was no one at the service desk. We waited for more than one hour past the arranged time for pick up. We went outside the airport to find out where the bus was - it was outside with the driver in the vehicle. He stated he couldn't help us until he had direction from his boss. He said it would take about 10 minutes. We waited for 20 minutes and went back out only to find the driver fast asleep in the bus. We banged on the window and told him that it was well over an hour and a half we had been waiting and we wanted him to take us to our hotel. He stated again that he couldn't do anything until his boss contacted him. We told him that he must contact his boss. He muttered that he couldn't do anything and we walked back into the airport not knowing what to do. Fortunately a lovely guy who worked at the airport asked us if we needed help. We explained our situation and frustrations and he immediately got on the phone and spoke to "the boss" and asked what was going on. We are not sure what excuse "the boss" made but our guy said that it wasn't good enough. We asked if we could cancel the bus and get a taxi. Our guy was told that a refund would not be possible because we didn't cancel within the allotted time (I think 4 hours). I said that we didn't want to cancel but as we hadn't received a service we wanted our money back. Our guy argued the point on our behalf and finally "the boss" agreed to refund the money. Had we not had such a wonderful local acting on our behalf we would have been out of pocket. I would never use this service again.

Pre-booked via website. Huge mistake. Expensive, $ 70 per person for a NYC hotel shuttle from JFK.
First you have to wait in the arrivals hall, long queue for a desk with unfriendly staff, than wait in a waiting room behind that service desk. Hot day, no airco and smelly. ordered outside to enter a big but cramped people carrier (van with lots of small seats) Again no airco, took us over an hour to reach our hotel and we were the first to disembark., A taxi for three would have cost us about $ 80.
We did not use them for the return to JFK and used a comfortable SUV from NYC Perfect Transportation.
Save yourself some money and irritation and take a taxi.

Hello Willem _pil, Thank you for sharing your review however, I believe you have your rates maybe mixed up with someone else. The cost is than $25 PER PERSON from JFK to your midtown hotel in NYC. This is a shared shuttle and we operate 24/7. All guest are asked to visit the welcome center at their terminal, where an Airport representative will assist them in calling for the next vehicle. This is not an employee of GO Airlink and we sincerely apologize if they were rude to you. We can always report it if you provided full details of your booking stating arrival time, date, reservation number, etc. We would also like this additional information so that we may inspect the vehicle and if there is an issue, we can get it fixed. As a visitor on our website, you would have noticed that we too offer comfortable SUV's should you have needed one. I look forward to your reply.

Outstanding service. Our driver was Hatim. He was on time and very courteous, and had a great personality for so early in the morning. Would highly recommend this service, as all passengers arrived on time for their scheduled flights. Five star service.

I purchased a voucher from Trip advisor
It had a bar code on my phone to use once at JFK
We got to the transport desk and they had no way of scanning a bar code. We had to get the voucher printed at a hotel concierge elsewhere at the airport for them to use.
We got back to the desk and they said the printed voucher didn’t contain the number they needed to book the transfer for us.
After much debate they agreed to and told us to wait in a crowded room behind the desk. They gave us no indication of time we would wait just said wait for our number to be called
After about 40 mins our voucher was called and we went to the bust with a number of other people.
We then went around to 2 other terminals with the driver disembarking to pick up more people
Eventually we left the airport and headed for manhattan where we dropped off 3 groups prior to our stop
I would NOT recommend using this service - after a long flight it was horrendous much better to pay the cab fare

We booked a round-trip shuttle from JFK to the TRYP by Wyndham hotel in Manhattan myself and three teenagers. The shuttle driver texted as we arrived at the airport and within 30 minutes was outside the front of baggage claim To pick us up, he said he would have been there earlier had it not been for traffic. Our departure shuttle picked us up at 5 AM on the dot and returned us to JFK. Lenny G was our departure shuttle driver in vehicle 1432. He was extremely personable and cheerful especially at 5 AM with three grouchy teenagers. It was approx $155 for all four of us round-trip taxes and tips are included so everything was done and it was no stress. Will definitely use this service again when we travel.
