A perfect day activity for New Yorkers and tourists alike. Greg was so knowledgeable and was also very respectful of the current covid climate (wore a mask, stood 6 feet+ away and also gave us hand sanitizer!). We had amazing food during the tour - come hungry and leave full :) We learned so much about places we walk by all the time, can’t wait to pass the music knowledge along to friends and family. When my parents are able to visit the city post-pandemic, I will absolutely be taking them on this tour! Thank you, Greg for a great experience, we can’t wait to go on another one soon.

Hello Jamie! I was thrilled to walk with your group as my first Greg Walks NYC tour of 2021. In spite of COVID, your group was able to safely eat, laugh about Greenwich Villages rich music history and have some yummy treats. I look forward to walking with you and yours soon. Happy and Healthy New Year and thanks agai n for the great 5 star review. Greg

After doing this tour with Greg we found an amazing place to eat afterwards. His knowledge and wit and personality were wonderful. He will teleport you to the past and reconnect you with your heritage. I recommend Greg’s Italian Heritage Tour for everyone Italian and non-Italian alike. It’s about ALL our history.

Greg was a wonderful tour guide! We decided to be tourists in our own city to celebrate a birthday, but wanted something that was covid safe. Greg didn’t not disappoint! He was very mindful of covid safety protocol, always wore a mask, and was a delight to talk to! We learned many new things about New York’s Italian heritage and ate some really great food! If there was a stop that we had been to before, Greg was able to swap it out with another place that he recommended that was new for us. Amazing tour and would highly recommend for tourists or locals! If you want to get your steps in and are tired of being indoors, go eat some yummy food with Greg!

Hi Rachel I was most happy to provide the COVID PROTOCOL Italian food birthday tour. It's fun to share with the Italian food gems of northern Soho and the Village. And, I was thrilled you all enjoyed the gelato in cold weather. Thanks again. Stay healthy and safe. Seasons Greetings Greg

In this time of pandemic when we were feeling a bit low and needed something to lift our spirits, I suggested to my husband, of a mere four months, that we go on a Greg Walks tour. My husband, Doug, is from Maine originally and a history buff. This was the perfect way for us to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon in New York City—-where we now spend a lot of time. Greg is a tall, handsome drink of water and a true New Yorker who loves our city. He wowed Doug with lots of information, anecdotal stories of his family growing up in the neighborhood dating all the way back to the early 1900s. Greg respected all the COVID-19 precautions and showed us a wonderful slice of life in NYC. We will certainly be visiting again with this wonderful guide. I highly recommend this activity, especially because it is outdoors and safe, as well as fun! Greg is a real people person, and will lift your spirits whether you are solo, a couple, a family or a group. A must do while you are here.
