For so many years, I have heard how great this musical is and how breath-taking the incredible Julie Taymor costumes were (and they were). I'm sure many others have heard such ballyhoo as well. However, after sitting in the Minskoff Theatre for two and half...More

What do you mean by lower deck? I'm a newbie so all I see are orchestra and mezzanine seats available. Which should we try to get? Thank you!

There is not a bad seat in this theatre! Lower is floor, personally the set is so awesome I preferred Mezzanine
Is it worth paying more to seat in the orchestra or is it perfectly fine in the mezzanine? Also we will be in NYC at the end of June, should we buy in advance. thanks for your help. Eleanor

We sat in the side/forward seats of the mezzanine. This was an excellent spot to see everything, particularly the characters who come out into the audience.
what type of discount could I expect on Lion King tickets if I get them at the box office on the day of the show? Are they typically readily available then?
