What an awesome experience! I was fortunate enough to have been a part of a company-sponsored holiday treat to My Cooking Party. We prepared, from scratch, a three course meal under the guidance of two excellent chefs and then, the best part, sitting down to enjoy the camaraderie and the delicious meal.

We had a team building event at this location and it was GREAT. We had done similar activities in the past but this Surpassed all of them. The staff was very friendly and the cooking competition was a huge success. We liked it so much we’re going to have our next outing at this location.

Had a company party here and had a great time. Tiny little snacks before starting that were very tasty, like filet mignon on toast, spring rolls. Then it starts off with a brief tutorial by one of the chefs on slicing, prepping meat, seasoning etc. I found it really interesting and we learned some things. Then everyone picks a spot at a table. Depending on where you go that determines what you are making. My husband and I found up seasoning and cooking all the skirt steak while others worked on a tiramisu, blanching bok choy, making risotto or preparing the lentils. With the wine pouring freely everyone had a great time, even those that decided to just watch. Afterwards the staff plate all the food and your get to enjoy a great meal. There are quite few menus to choose from and this one was delicious. It is pricey but I would love to do this again.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at MCP with my college friends. It was absolutely perfect. Everyone commented on how beautiful the space was as soon as we walked in the door! The appetizers were delicious, albeit, very small and not very plentiful. The grilled cheese (about the size of a quarter lol) and tomato soup shot were delicious. We also had tiny, little crab balls, tuna ceviche and yummy little sliders. Everything was well seasoned and melt in your mouth good! Brett the maitre'd was fantastic! He was very accommodating and kept our glasses full with sangria all night! They also served soft drinks and water. (I think they should also offer some kind of juice. They only had soda and wine.) Chef Matt was terrific! I can't believe he got us to make a full resturant quality meal in an hour! He worked his way around to each group and kept us moving right along. There was also a gentleman, I don't recall his name, who cleaned up as we cooked. He was the Real MVP! I loved the entire experience. My friends came from all over the country, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Newport News, Virginia, and I wanted to give them a unique NYC experience and MCP provided exactly that! It was very pricey, but worth it for me. Thanks to Brett and Matt for a beautiful evening. Thanks to Maria and Sara for making all of the arrangements.
