We had so much fun - very educational, loved it! Situated next to a wonderful coffee shop & Central Park, it’s a fun activity to do!

Great park
Jun 2018 • Friends
Close to the American Museum of Natural History. It has nice pathways for walking or running. There’s also a dog run area. Lots of lush green areas for lounging, picnics, or reading, or just enjoying the beauty. It’s close to lots of food trucks & restaurants. As a bonus, Central Park is right across the street! Go visit especially if you’re going to the museum.

Decent smallish park next to the Natural History Museum
Oct 2017 • Friends
It was a decent smallish park right next to the Natural History Museum. Of course it's dwarfed by the Central park right across the street, but it's fairly clean and some decent clientele.

Nice Park
Aug 2017 • Couples
Just off Central Park this Theodore Roosevelt Park is a nice continuation to the green belt.

We found it to be more peaceful and less crowded.

Pleasant
Jun 2017 • Solo
I waited for my companion in the Theodore Roosevelt Park on the north side of the American Museum of Natural History today.

It was raining lightly, but the benches were relatively dry under the big trees, and it was a very peaceful experience.

Beautiful park by Natural History Museum
Nov 2016 • Solo
I stopped here after my visit to the New York Historical Society museum and enjoyed a quiet place to sit and enjoy a quiet lunch. This is a small park but it is serene.

Lovely to sit and enjoy shade during summer
Aug 2016 • Solo
This is the park that surrounds New York Museum Natural History. Most of it seems fenced, but there are a number of benches to sit in shade and people watch.

Good Sushi
Sep 2015 • Family
This park was right opposite our hotel, The Excelsior. At the other end of the park is the Museum of Natural History. And then across the road is Central Park. So if you are a visitor to the city with limited time then better visit Central park instead of this one but if you are there for a long haul then do drop by.

Nice green space
Mar 2016 • Family
Whilst walking from the apartment we rented to the natural history museum, we passed this little park so stopped for a short while and took in a nice piece of greenery in an otherwise concrete jungle. It's not that you would go here just to see it, but as we were passing by it was an ok thing to do
