    Home Studio Supplies
    B & H is the place to go for all my home studio needs. I prefer the pick up option because it's always nice to get into midtown and the energy at the store is buzzing. I especially appreciate the staff's urgency to get me what I need, answer questions, offer options and facilitate a smooth pick up.

    B&H has the fastest lines!
    Always quick pick up. They know how to move lines because they have so many people on check out. My last purchase was heavy with multiple items and my check out guy waited with me for car service and wheeled the items into the van. Just make sure items are in-store.

    The service is always excellent. The sales people are patient and quite knowledgeable. The culture of the store is quite welcoming. I have always found this to be the case whenever l visited the store for over the past 20 years.

    Visiting the B & H store feels like being a child in a candy store.
    B & H website is very user friendly. Whether you place an order to be delivered or picked up, the website makes it easy. Their line of merchandise is perhaps the most extensive and varied in the industry. What can be better than placing an order online? Going to the store in person! I have always found B & H staff to be friendly and well knowledgeable in their field of expertise. To top it off, their prices are competitive, and their store credit card offers alternative and flexible paying options. Visiting the B & H store feels like being a child in a candy store.

    A Disneyland for Fans of Photography and Video
    B&H is like a Disneyland for fans of photography and video. It is a must see. Excellent place to shop as well. Knowledgable friendly staff. No sales pressure. Great inventory. Get their "Payboo" credit card to save on sales tax.

    The GO TO for Photography, Computer, Audio/Video Production Gear & More
    Always fascinated by the efficiency of the network of conveyor belts moving items around the store from the stock area to customer service. This place is my go to for all my tech, photography, computer and audio hardware. Even if you're not shopping its just as amazing watching the store in action.

    Amazing store with excellent prices and a wide variety of products to choose from. A top-notch sales staff to help you in the decision making process. I couldn't recommend this place any higher .. it's awesome

Don't Use if you need the product anytime soon

Promoted expedited shipping on their site (the price of the product was the same as other places otherwise) - we needed it within a 2 business day cushion of the promoted/quoted shipping arrival...it arrived 4 business days late - I bought elsewhere, but to top it off I now have to PAY return shipping on an item that was late and never opened. If they were upfront about the real arrival time I wouldn't be upset and would have bought elsewhere because we needed it quickly. We will NOT be using B&H again - had tried after hearing about them from friends.

4 months and still not received my refund

Purchased 2 items to be shipped to the UK. Returned the items which were refunded less the customs tax. It took me 3 months to get a partial payment.It's now been over 4 months and I still haven't received a full refund. Terrible customer service. I will never use this company again, and highly recommend no-one order if items are being shipped internationally.

Atrocious customer experience!!!
My wife got a new B&H credit card that saves her on tax so when picking up $400 worth of goods i went into the store to ask if they can switch from my card to hers. B&H is a bit uptight about payments so just in case i also brought in her ID as she waited in double parked car with my young kids. So i show them my credit card, my ID, my wife's ID and my wife's B&H card (all with the same last name) and they still claim that she physically has to be there to make the purchase... I've been shopping with them for over 15 years, purchased probably $50,000 worth of goods and i'm still being threaten as if i just trying to swindle them???

Bye, bye B&H - i'm gladly walking into Adorama's embrace.

Perfect Way to Beat the Corona Virus

What more can I ask for than a store where I can order an electronic item and pick it up. This is so much better than B***t B*y because there are people you can chat with online for questions. The savvy of this business model is brilliant: great ordering systems, great pick up systems, and online experts to answer on-line.

Good, But Not Perfect

B&H is good, but not perfect. They earned my family's trust over a period of years. We order from B&H and don't have to worry if the products we receive will be Chinese knock-offs (which is a real problem with Amazon). The few times we've had a problem with a B&H order, the issue has been very well handled.

But, they do have some problems with their ordering process. Very recently I placed an order, then decided to add something to that order. The website provided a way to do it, but doing so put my order into into "secretly hung status" where it showed an expected delivery date, but in reality the order hadn't shipped and wouldn't until I called to see why my package was never delivered.

Nor was that my first problem with a hung order at B&H. When I ordered a $7K HP workstation a few years ago, they sat on the order for months while waiting for a $70 PCI card to come in that I didn't even really need. By the time I got the PC, the price had literally dropped. Nobody ever even asked if I'd like to have the PC shipped without the missing PCI card.

missing items, worst customer service!

I received only half of what I ordered, and instead of the other half there was an awful pack of cards with tire advertisements!! See picture. Customer service is the worst I've ever come across: countless mails, chats in which I was instructed to send an email again, no picking up the phone and 3-hr wait times. I'm still trying to reach them after 11 days, no answer whatsoever. I have equipment waiting for those parts and now I have to order them someplace else, having already paid for them once. Spend your money elsewhere, where they actually care about your business!!

A bit later: I left a comment on one of their advertisements on their facebook page, and instead of getting back to me to resolve the issue they erased my comment and blocked me within a couple of hours! Attached is a screenshot of that. It's gone now! Nice way to solve a problem!

This company is not honest with its advertising or disclosures. I purchased a Macbook Air and weeks later it has not been delivered. When I called them they said they have no idea when the back order will be filled and cannot even give an estimate if it is weeks or months for delivery. Of course when they advertised it for sale they never disclosed that it could be months before it would be delivered. I alredy had one of thse computers from Costco delivered but not opened when I decided to buy from B&H due to a cheaper price. But of course B&H never revealed that it could be months befroe delivery. This company is a scam. I will never do business with them again.

2 things since the introduction of payboo card (Customers be very on top of your payboo account, it's set up to confuse) Half the time things are sold out and unavailable. This is real problem for the store. 30 percent of the time I take my order else-wheres because of no stock. The customer support is slow, the shipping which use to take a day or 2 or 3 is now a week and if you mail customer service it's takes days for them to get back to you. Covid 19 of course, but I think this is more than that. As much love as I have for the store for 20 or more year a regular customer it seems like B and H brilliance is fading for a while now for a number of reasons.

I wanted this Motherboard, signed up for the restock notification and waited patiently. This was such a task during a Global Pandemic with all of China shut down for months, causing in my eyes a shortage of technology. My email notification came in that my item was in stock then I rushed it in my cart for an immediate purchase. I learned this lesson after missing several x570 Motherboards that were in stock. If you want it, you better be ready to purchase! B&H Photo's website is extremely is to navigate, with many key features allowing users to use the page to purchase or request notifications of restock for future purchases. I found this feature outstandingly amazing because I was having trouble finding anything that someone had in stock or wasn't charging 3 times the normal price. Shipping was extremely fast even during the middle of the Pandemic. I love this website!

I have to admit, when I first visited B&H I did find the place a little strange. I'm also not a big fan of mixing religion with business, and it IS infuriating that the store is closed when I need something on a Friday afternoon, or a Saturday (and as a business owner, working in the video/audio field, that's not an uncommon occurrence!), but as with everything in life...nothing's perfect! Fortunately for B&H, they get so many things SO right that they DO get away with their unorthodox (oh the irony of using that word!) business hours. Frankly I'd be lost without them! Sure, there's always Amazon, but sometimes I need things immediately, and another great draw for me is their store-card. I don't use it for credit (I'm sure the interest rate isn't too wonderful!) - I pay it off in full every month - but the instant 100% tax rebate is literally incredible. I realize this isn't likely to be of much help to a tourist (so maybe Trip Advisor isn't the best place for this review!) but nevertheless, it's a great perk. B&H have a great selection of products, much of which is stocked at the store (some items do need to be shipped from their warehouse). I've never needed to ask their advice on anything that I've purchased, but if you do need some advice I'm certain their staff are far better trained/knowledgeable than virtually any other electronics store. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, too, and their website is fantastic. Thoroughly recommended.
