Rapid pace and talented cast but I had trouble understanding a lot of the dialog and worried about the actor who seemed to be binge-drinking, something I don't find funny.

Great show. Small venue of maybe 50 seats. Everyone has a good seat. Humor is a little crass, but if you can relax and let your hair down for 90 minutes, you are sure to have fun. Everyone gets one free shot upon entering the...More

Two couples went and were sat in the front row. Our tickets were for the 2nd row, but they must have thought we would be willing to participate. We did. To be fair there are just two rows. It is a small theatre/large room. They...More

Found The Drunk Shakespear Society by accident when looking for small-scale productions to go see on our one night off in NY. In hindsight, we couldn't have made a better choice. Top quality actors, a small and intimate venue, a Shakespeare play, and alcohol makes...More

The actors and the show is very funny. The place is really cool and small so you can enjoy the show from any place. The entrance is a little difficult to find, so just look for a small entrance paint in red that say theater...More

Saw the show the other night as a 2nd date and it was by far one of the best experiences ever. I was alittle skeptical as I’m not the biggest theater, let alone Shakespeare fan but my view was turned around as soon as we...More

This show was funny with a mix of Shakespeare, current events, political humor, and sexual humor. I found it very entertaining and I don’t even drink.

No food menu. Eat dinner beforehand. They do have several drinks you can sample during the show though. It makes it more funny I guess. We order 2 mixed drinks and it was like 20-22 dollars. If you don't want to drink, it is... More
