Kleines Theater sehr eng. Macht keinen Spaß.
Show war okay, aber nicht der Hammer. Spulen ihr Programm runter. Eklige parts mit Essen und Ausspeien dabei uaah...gar nicht witzig.

    Such fun
Such fun! I actually can't believe BMG is still running after all these years but it has evolved a bit and still fun for all ages. My 6 year old watched with huge eyes and laughed her way through it, even when the jokes went over her head. All the staff were helpful and friendly, and the performers were great as always.

Still very entertaining after 17 years!
Having seen them 17 years ago in Vegas when we married we really wanted to take the kids on our visit to New York. Having read the current reviews however I was a bit worried. No need, they were very entertaining still and our boys (16 and 13) enjoyed it. Their show has not moved on I.e. a lot of it is still the same as 17 years ago and not a particularly environment friendly show (but I won’t give it away) but they are still very funny! A unique show that they have mastered to a fine art.

    Utterly bonkers!
Family of 4 (adult children) and we booked on the day. It was great fun, lots of laughter and in admiration of the music talent. We were in the balcony and it’s quite steep with little leg room but well worth a visit.

    Poncho section!
Amazing as always! My second time seeing Blue Man Group and it's always fun! We used the pricing option on Ticketmaster for buying 4 or more tickets to a matinee and got them at a discounted rate. We splurged on the poncho section which was fun! We only saw 2 people get hit with a small amount of banana used in one skit and liquid in another skit. It's nothing to worry about- you won't be deliberately sprayed with food. No intermission and run time was 90 minutes. You can bring backpacks but they will be inspected and there is no where to check bags or coats. We brought our own water and snacks which worked out well but they sell them also. Definitely worth the trip to see!

This is a Noho show, and there is a reason it is “off broadway”. The Blue Man Group push the limits, specially when they interact with the audience.. they slammed a guy against the wall after first hanging him upside down to make him swing like a pendulum (he had a helmet and wore some sort of suit, but still that was not something I would have tolerated had it been me). The show is enjoyable albeit not very pleasant at times, like when the lights are flashing so bright in the audience eyes or when you see footage of the inside of the larynx of one the performers. All in all, an experience that my wife and I are glad we did, since it is not something you will find in many places other than NYC - unlike musicals which are the same everywhere. If I do it again I would choose a seat in the upper floor to avoid the possibility of being picked.

I have been dreaming of seeing The Blue Man Group perform since I was in elementary school. I was obsessed with becoming a drummer when I was little, and I used to see all the advertisements on busses, trains, and billboards when my mom took me into Boston. I was in NYC celebrating my 30th birthday and we found out Blue Man Group was performing while we were visiting. Attending this show was literally me living a childhood dream. I was beyond impressed and I would LOVE to be able to attend another show.

The blue man group is … uh… umm.. a performance. There’s no other way to describe it. You’ll just have to see it yourself to see what I mean. That said, these actors have to be pretty darn talented to do what they do. This show’s got humor, this show’s got music, this show even has a fair bit of audience participation (very fun, especially in a cozy little theatre like this one). It’s artsy, it’s funny, it’s crazy, and you’ll have a blast. No one I ever spoke to left this show disappointed.

The worst thing I have ever seen or spent money on. All 1 star reviews are accurate here. Waste of money, waste of time, almost through up at the show from disgusting stuff they show.

Be careful bringing your kids as there is a lot of u safe behavior that is made to look more fun with color. Such as stuffing your mouth with food and hanging someone on their legs and throw paint. Kids do not understand the dangers of this.

The show is not fun, funny, 0 talent is shown. The only person actually laughing genuinely was a 4 year old kid when he saw popcorn stuck on one of performers face. We are still in shock with how did this group last for so long. The only great job they did is marketing .

Having seen snippets of the Blue Man group performances on TV over the years, I was psyched to see this show. The majority was geared toward children who like gross-out humor. Many parts were extremely disgusting (making me nauseous) and other segments went on pointlessly much much longer than necessary. Also, major parts of the musical performances occurred off-stage with a drummer and music being added electronically to attempt to enhance what was occurring on-stage.

My experience at the Blue Man group was short lived, much like their careers. Either they’ve lost their spark or their comedy sketch writer quit. The show was flat and very awkward. After $168.37 of my hard earned money was spent, I had no choice but to leave the performance. I can only describe it as a waste of time and money. I learned a lesson that day… Go see the Jabbawockeez. Please take this review as a warning. Good luck. 0/5 starts

I saw them like a long time ago....a really long time ago. I don't want to put a number of years to date myself. Damn...it's been a minute. The show was a bit different than I remember and the theater was on the smaller side. I still enjoyed the performance and thankfully didn't sit anywhere near the stage so didn't have to wear a poncho. If you're looking for something entertaining, I'd recommend. Since I saw it in Vegas originally...this isn't the same venue nor production. I would say it is going to be more entertaining for younger crowds, aka kiddos.

Do not pay to see this show and especially do not pay for the Poncho seats. this show is a total ripoff and not worth the money. They bill the Poncho seats as interactive which they are NOT. there is a whole section of people wearing these Ponchos and nothing happens. Total and complete false advertising. I complained to a staff member that we did not get wet or anything and her response was, "yeah its not messy like it used to be" ...horrible. Save your money

Simply excellent performance. Every age will love it. Intelligent humor mixed with rock music and drumming.

Right side first 4 rows you may get wet (ponchos provided)

I would sit in 6th row on the aisle

This is a SMALL venue (off-broadway) so don't expect the Phantom of the Opera. Seats are small so keep in mind if you have a large posterior.

No more meet and greets because of COVID

Went there for the 2PM show today. Tix were only $75 including all fees. The show was 90 minutes and was the perfect amount of time. For a show with no speaking, it was great. Highly entertaining. Would definitely recommend.
